Post all your Tesla Model 3 and Model Y EDD updates and other delivery related posts here please

Somebody throw a tweet to Elon. He will sort this out for us 👍🏻 😆
It was only on some of them.
Again I still don't understand how they couldn't just take €392 euro off the price of a white or black LR Y with a tow hitch.
That would make them grant qualified again.
Personally I cannot see why anyone who just took delivery of a Model Y at €47K or whatever should wish to return car because of the so called sale. Surely they were happy with the agreed price at the time, as I was last March when buying my Model 3 for over €49K.
Better just enjoy car and forget about it. But just my opinion, each to their own..
It wasn't on my fire sale order, you'd be follish to cancel - keep the order and cancel before delivery. Cancelling is doing Tesla a favour at this stage. Spiteful I know but I canceled my orignal order yesterday on the basis I had secured a fire sale order. I won't be buying a tesla for many years to come after this, regardless or the product merits this organization doesn't deserve our custom
The plot thickens.... from an email with Tesla. I think we can safely assume something got c0cked up. Just have sit and wait to see what happens next ... Has anyone been asked for payment of a fire sale car?
I've asked to keep both the Model Y and my original M3 ( From Feb) in place for the time being so I'm not screwed waiting. I was told on live chat during the week that all the Model Ys in the inventory are "uk cars that are currently being moved" and that I'll be contacted when " the model 3's are moved" . Don't know what to believe anymore tbh
I’ve paid in full for my firesale MY but wasn’t called specifically asking for payment.
All of the so called firesale cars had an edd of 19th April - 4th May so were never going to be delivered by end of March.
Won't that be false advertising? Because it is not an error pricing, there is nothing written when we all pay the deposit that the offer is strictly with condition to collection before 31st March 23.
Looks like Tesla made the offer but just doesn't want to honour it because it doesn't suit them anymore rather than a 'human error'.
The intern who initiated that sale in Ireland is a gonner anyway 😂
I think they are saying computer error, cars should have been allocated to order holders who weren't VIN allocated yet. So a lot (not all) will be allocated rather than go into inventory
Exactly! and we all have VINs as well so cars have been allocated to us
Buying online is distance selling, so they are allowed to cancel if there was a "pricing error" - we've all seen it when there have been pricing errors on air fares online - 9 times out of 10 they are cancelled, on the odd occasion an airline will honour them.
I think all of us who bagged a reservation at a lower price could argue all day long it's not an error, but ultimately Tesla will decide.
I can only imagine the further damage it will do to their reputation here though....
Not them all no.
No payment but was asked for registration details and trade in.
I feel sorry for people who cancelled their other orders on the basis of a fire sale purchase that they may no longer be able to take ( due to loss of Gov grant )
They were cancelling to do the right thing .. release them for others, and in the end got stung for that.
Same here, registration done and it's sitting at " Trade in valuation in progress".
Anyone fancy calling Joe Duffy on Monday? 😂
I didn’t do anything further as I’m not 100% if I’m taking it or not. I’m finding it harder to let go of the M3P. I’ve kinda warmed to it.
I would only for the i4 is not worth the money their charging.
What about returning the car because they don't like the way Tesla do business, or the USS replacement is pants or because of the state of the car on delivery or any number of other reasons?
One thing losing 200€ vs losing 5K in a matter of days or hours even…
Who lost €5k? It was a flash sale end of quarter. Pointless argument now since the discount seems to be a pricing error.
Sure he lost more than €5k the second he drove it out of the showroom.
Yes, I was due for collection today and if it wasn’t an error but sale I’d have lost or paid extra 5K for the same exact car.
Anyway I’m not happy one bit what happened to me or to those who bought as this is Tesla…great cars horrible company to deal with.
Just catching up on two days posts now, wow!
IF true then I can see legitimate cases here, pricing error is an error but 10% off when having the same pricing in other countries would be difficult to support, if it was 90% off then fair enough but 10% off is reasonable.
Very bad taste on Tesla, they should honour and shift 80 cars and be done with it
What sort of a sh!tshow are they running in Tesla if this is the latest. While I've been patient enough the whole lack of communication, mixed messages etc it is severely offputting. Whoever is in charge in Ireland needs to be removed from their job because there have been so many bad reports in terms of delivery, the changing of delivery dates, the poor state of some of the cars collected, others getting cars ahead of others and now the whole thing with cancelling orders. It has been a complete shambles. Even on the day of ordering they were giving you different information depending on who you spoke to. I feel sorry for those on the ground working for Tesla here because they seem to be as much in the dark as anyone.
If there were 80 cars ordered in the sale that is approximately 400000k worth of a loss. In the grand scheme of things it's not a huge amount of money for a company as big as Tesla who are still making money on the cars sold. They should honour all the sales and put it down to their mistake rather than piss a lot of people off more.
I think this is the company philosophy or their business model, we don’t give a dime about the consumers…sure when I was in the store earlier the rep was telling me it’s my problem if I cancelled my order . Top to the bottom the company is rotten.
Seriously?
Incredible attitude from the staff. Zero f-cks given. Our problem not theirs.
Yep, in my case it was just over 9% which brought the grant into play too;
It all made sense at the time, particularly for the LR models as they were all over the threshold.
