Trump doesnt have to prove his innocence, the prosecution have to prove his guilt, and they wont be able to.

If they weren’t able to prove his guilt a grand jury wouldn’t have indicted on 34 counts first initiated by Trumps own DOJ in its prosecution of Michael Cohen.

Alot of case that go to trial are not won by the prosecution, this is merely a PR stunt.
So first it was that unless he was actually charged it was not talked about. And now that he is charged, it is Pelosi that is classless.

And here is the Ex-POTUS, charged on 34 counts by a grand jury and yet instead of talking the time to actually review the counts and see if Trump really has a case to answer, you decide to attack the people who simply highlight the fact that he has brought more humiliation to the US and his supporters.
Except Cohen was prosecuted for the same battery of crimes already.
And that is how grand juries work. Prosecutors present their best case, absent cross or counter. It has to be voted on by a grand jury and even then they don’t bring many cases to indictment. Here they brought a staggering 34 counts and you haven’t even seen the charges or documents yet. But we have seen Cohen go to jail as explained by his activities with Individual One, aka. Donald J Trump.

The idea of the right to a trial to prove innocence isn't about the defendant having to prove that they are innocent. The idea is that an innocent person frequently welcomes a trial, especially if there has been a lot of publicity around them being accused of a crime, so that they can prove in a court of law that they are not guilty. Which is why "everyone has the right to a trial to prove their innocence" is a common turn of phrase, at least in the US.
Yes, lots of cases are not won by the prosecution. But then most cases are not the result of indictments from a grand jury.

Actually, I think we know who doesn't know how courts work here. The worst thing an attorney can do, is waste a judge's time. Years of careful investigation resulting in 34 indictments isn't a PR stunt, no matter how much your handlers on Fox would like you to believe that.
Sadly, I knew someone in politics who turned out to be a dirty actor and was indicted on 20 counts. This was in Hudson county, NJ, a notoriously corrupt county. Well, despite his protestations that it was just a political stunt to get him out of office, he served 4 years in prison (note: Felons go to prison, not Jail in the US, which is much worse, both far worse than in Ireland. Jail's only for up to 1 year.)
And his life was ruined - pension gone, now living on social security, from being a 'big shot' to just another elderly in Florida.

Thats how Grand Juries work which you obviously have no clue about, for a grand jury to indict on 1 count let alone 34 takes a hell of a lot of evidence. And as many have pointed out Cohen has already been convicted for literally the exact same crimes.
