When do Tesla start contacting customers regarding delivery day and times? How far out from the EDD?
I believe the trade valuation is given based on the delivery date. I ordered mid-Jan and was due to receive Apr to June. I saw a car in inventory and switched which brought my date down to got April 19 - May 04. Yesterday I got a text for details on my current car (service dates same photos etc.), and today I got a quote. Hopefully, I'm close to the end of this journey π
When do people typically pay ?
Is it when they contact you with an exact delivery date ? Or do you need to pay before that?

Yeah, tesla don't care as long as they get paid. Try transfer 100e first and see it come off your account the next day. Remember to include your order number.
We got lucky on the sale getting a MY LR with Induction reduced to below the grant threshold.
Can understand those being reduced but strange they reduced the ones already inside the grant threshold given how many are on order that could have sold at full price.
A quick question, I think someone mentioned it recently but I'm struggling to find in the search.
Can the payment be made in stages?? (i.e. bank transfer limit unless I go to branch)
And will it show up in the Tesla user account once it goes through or do I need to call Tesla to confirm?

Iβd say it was Q1 push to have the books looking good. If anyone refuses now Iβd say their cars will go to Q2 sales but then again Iβm not sure.
Yes, especially so if they're still on a boat as some have been told, in which case they have zero chance of getting here in Q1. But some of the cars were manufactured in early January; they presumably are already in the UK/Zeebrugge?
Very strange, they could just have sold them in April for full price no problem.
Just has pay of remaining balance before delivery. The delivery date has not changed 19 April to the 04 may.

Question for the fire sale purchases, do you have to pay the full amount by Friday to be counted in end of quarter sales? If not seems like a pointless waste of money from Tesla. Or maybe I don't understand how business works π

MY RWD VIN is 75XXXX, the MY LR I ordered during the fire sale is 729XXXX.
I assume that means the LR is approx this batch
M3P ordered Vin is 775XXX
I collect MYP yesterday with VIN 72xxxx.
Cert of conformity has manufactured date 14/01/2023.
Suspension is good.
Nah just an MY RWD - though it was deep blue metallic and there were other ones same color in the inventory cheaper for days and nobody picked it up and they all disappeared...could be though!
If your cancellation specs matches someone who has not been assigned a VIN yet, it wont go to inventory, but straight to them
