The collapse of Putin's Russia will be sudden and unexpected just like all other Russian collapses. Those that think different to that should remember that Russia is like the British. It never won a major war by itself. Most look at WWll but the forget that mainly the Russian supplied was the manpower.
The US gave the Russians over 10 billion dollars in aid during WWll ( equivalent to 180 billion today).
It included 6k medium tanks, 300k trucks and 11k planes. The great patriotic war is largely a myth that was perpetuated by journalist's sympathetic to the USSR in the 1970's.
Russian collapse could come from many different scenarios. It could be a internal Kremlin coup, it could be an army/FSB takeover together or separately. It could come from a revolt in a few of it's federation states. It could even be a general uprising. It could also come from an army munity at the front lines.
Americans still seem confident about the Bakhmut situation.
Still holding though 😎
I know I've been saying it for , nearly 8 months,
But it won't hold indefinitely
Mean while elsewhere in Ukraine,or should I say somewhere in Ukraine, Looks like preparations for something big is coming along nicely....
@Manic Moran
Hopefully this is more genuine than the last one I posted, but apparently the Ukrainians are modding Challenger 2 tanks with extra protection,
When did I predict the collapse of the EU? Quotes please.
When did I ever declare myself a fan of Putin or Russia for that matter?
Again quotes please.
Oh wait, never.
I'm done with this one.
You've been predicting it in the NI protocol thread for ages then disappearing.
In this thread, back in February 22 you were bleating on about NATO encroachment on poor old old mother russia ignoring the fact that countries wouldn't want to join if Russia didn't keep threatening them.
Your form is well known here Kermit. Well known. It's your distinctive usename that makes your brand of bullshit so memorable. I'll not be quoting what we both know.
Of course you won't quote what only exists in your head.
I don't do wishful fantasy or feelings over reality.
Not my problem that offends you.
If you are going to attack other posters kindly provide evidence for your assertions. Or better actually read properly what posters post.
Good day to you sir.
He says one thing
The Ukrainans on the ground say otherwise or are you saying the Ukrainians are lying
I remember you predicting Ireland being forced out of the EU.
Lure them in and keep them in a killing zone? I hope you are right. A commander when told of a relieving force approaching a town he was besieging told his men to let them in without interference our guns will find targets more easily.
Well said but the Russians have China, Brazil and India keeping them economically afloat. And they've unlimited oil and gas. Something the likes of Germany and Japan didn't have in ww2. If the other major powers stood with Ukraine this would be over already.
Trick is, they only have gas and not really the means to produce LNG which can be shipped. The majority of Russia's pipelines point directly at a Europe that has mostly cut them off. To make the same amount of business with India or China, they must built new pipes.
Business with China & India is a patch at best and nothing compared to the markets they are now cut off from.
Plus India and China are paying far less than Europe did per liter. So it costs more to ship and they get less money. Realistically they're making a loss on every sale but it's still better than no money at all.
They also get the shipping, insurance costs etc.
They are still making money on each barrel, that's all they need.
Certainly not ideal for them.
Its far from ideal. Its a disaster for Russia. They use oil and gas as a big barganing chip, now thats gone. They also hit Gasprom up for "windfall" profits last year to fund the war, whereas this year Gazprom will be looking for a subsidy.
The amount of money they make per barrell is tiny, and without European and US engineering firms they will struggle to tap new fields and repair or replace old equipment.
I also think that at this stage Europe will not be going back to Russia to buy their oil and gas in great quantities when the war is over. 2022 was a nightmare for Europe and they will not want to repeat it.
So long term they have caused serious damage to their main export industry with no obvious means of repairing it.
Anyone know what might happen when Russia takes over chairing the UN security council on 1 April ? Are there strokes they can pull to work in their favour ?
Meanwhile...
From The Guardian this morning:
China said its military was willing to work together with the Russian military to strengthen strategic communication and coordination, the Chinese defence ministry said on Thursday.
Certainly goes against the commentary in the last few days about China being upset over the Russians installing nuclear weapons in Belarussian soil...
The pop of Moscovy is circa 150m. Another option - all you want is for one individual to ‘lose the head’ and with one bullet and one shotgun and a bit of luck. There are a lot of of precidences , world wide, where leaders/ ‘important people ‘ have received such a demise. Even a pope is not free of such an event being attempted
Lativa will deport Russians who fail the national language test as part of residency permits will be forcibly deported.....
Zelensky himself remains defiant.
The maps have barely moved in weeks.
You shouldn't be trying to pre announce a defeat. You are not on the ground and you don't know the full picture.
The orc economy is totally fcuked. Maybe the collapse won't happen tomorrow or next week, but it's coming.
Half the warchest that putler built up to fund this war has already been seized. The other half he is rapidly burning through. You can be very sure that the Koreans, Iranians and other black market dealer who the orcs are buying arms through are getting their pound of flesh.
Very possible it all ends in massive money printing and hyperinflation.

I'd be amazed if China didn't know of the plan to put missiles in Belarus, I wouldn't even be shocked if they suggested it.
They will try pull some stunt, they would have most of Africa and a lot of Asia across a nexus of wishing them well to outright support.
Presumably the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists would have to release an emergency update, for one.
Anyway, this act of placing missiles near borders is so incredibly sophomoric and shows the Russian stronkman thing to be braindead. They're supposed to be inter-continental ballistic missiles aren't they? Why would it even really matter where you place them? Can't they fly around the world, more or less? If anything, placing them nearer enemy territory actually introduces more of a risk of them being shot down as they're going up. Not to mention that you suffer from fallout if you hit anywhere near you. It's dumb, stupid and moronic. It achieves nothing.
I haven't pre announced anything, the fact of the matter is the Russians have made progress in bakhmut, they have made it to the center of the city,
So are the Ukrainan military lying being they actually confirmed it,
Or do we already know that answer
So what do you do when you run of prisoners to send to Ukraine to fight,
You move on to the women's prisons of course,
Orphanages are next followed by nursing homes.
I think I saw an article about the deployment of nuclear weapons by russia to its puppet state Belarus and it mentioned other types of missiles with nuclear warheads were what was being deployed there rather than ICBMs. I just did a search and the article below gives more detail and it is the Iskander tactical missile system that they are deploying there with nuclear warheads. I had thought there was talk of China discouraging russia threatening the world with nuclear weapons and they had seemed to have gone quieter for a while. Maybe the moskovyte offensive in Ukraine stalling and making almost no new ground means they are now more scared of being completely kicked out of Ukraine and are falling back to their old strategy of threats of mass nuclear destruction as a last line of defense.
Photos of Dr. Evil and Mini me just for reference:
The tweet you quoted said the orcs had "partial success" in Bakhmut.
I don't see anyone on the Ukrainian side saying there is fighting in the city center itself. Only you and the orc propaganda channels are repeating it.
