Are they going that quietly, or are they thinking of looking for an injunction in another court to halt proceedings?
I think it would be in the public's interest to have a live feed of all proceedings taken against the burke clan - ratings would go through the roof.
If past is prologue then Simeon refused to acknowledge the existence of the charges and as such refuse to recognise the offer of bail so he'll be back in Cloverhill until the next day he gets an opportunity to deny the existence of reality.
I was expecting him to announce that he does not recognise any court of the land - only the court of God...with mammy as the judge and jury.
I think I read somewhere that if he refuses bail today, he’ll be held until his hearing. That could take a few weeks/months to get a date. Silly boy 🙄

Well, they all walked out and are on the way home. He should be barred from filing anything for a set period of time. What an utter waste of court time.

Yup, and is in fact doing so. The court made arrangements for Enoch to view the proceedings without being in the court, he refused to participate. He tried to get back in, but the guards wouldn't let him. He complained via his sister and the judge told her to let him know that Enoch was welcome back in court if he would agree to obey the strictures of the court. Now the school is opening their case. Without the Burkes in attendance, as they all left during the judge's interaction with Ammi. I guess we'll see how tomorrow goes. I expect much the same.
I expect he'll show up. And I expect that the judge won't let him back in unless he agrees to obey court rules and rulings.
Wouldn't you love to be a fly of the roof of the car hearing the outrage and consternation the whole way back to Castlebar, all of them shouting over one another? 🤣🤣🤣
