First time post.... and apologies if this has been answered before, but I couldn't find it. Ordered a M3 RWD (in blue) in Feb and can't wait to get it, however I'm not expecting to hear anything about collection until June (which seems such a looong time away!). I see a lot of folk are collecting this at the moment, and wondered if car mats come with the car? (floor mats, I'm not expecting the trunk/frunk mats). I want to order a few bits n pieces in anticipation of the car's arrival (storage/drawer packages, jacking point adaptors, screen protector, etc), and want to know if I should order a mat set too. (If so, any recommendations?)

Carpet mats are standard across the range.

The car comes with carpet style mats for the interior. They're fine but if you have kids or pets, you might want to get all weather type mats as they're sturdier and washable.
I picked up a set on AliExpress from the tefun store and they are fine. Took about 6 weeks to arrive via the Netherlands (no extra charges) if that matters.
Lots of vendors selling them and a few different options to chose from but they all seem fairly similar. Have a look around and see what you want. Just be sure to get RHD ones.
You can get a set of mats for the frunk and lower boot and even covers/mats for the back of the rear seats (if you plan to lower them to carry loads) though the mat for the main boot will get the most use.
Presumably only the granny cable comes with it or does it come with type 2 cable also?

Worth to add that Type 2 cable is 7.5m length, I saved 300€.Last year was 4m and that is not enough in my case.
New user here with my first post. I ordered MYSR in Dec but decided to switch to LR after the price cuts. Today I am getting the payment message in my Tesla account (No text for VIN yet). Should I think my delivery date is near ?
Also I will have to pay the vrt on final day apart from the number they mentioned right

They don't turn 'off'
It can make noise with fans etc
nothing to worry about. It eventually goes to sleep after a whilem but not if you constantly keep checking the status of the car using the app.
Ok but would you still hear a fan forty five minutes later?

Yes, came with disc holder for 2 discs.

They are pre-applied to the windshield on delivery or at least, should be. Mine was.
Where you'd expect a disc holder, on the windshield.
Not unless you call them for it. Obviously whoever did the PDI on your car forgot that checklist item.
