There are extremists on both sides. On the left though they tend to demonise and attack ideals, on the right, they demonise and attack groups of people. Your declaration of people of the lefts “uselessness as human” is redolent of this approach. The people themselves being abhorrent, not their ideals or method. You are on a dangerous path.

The right scour the global news for any example of someone on the left throwing tomato juice or similar and amplify that to try to be the same as violent insurrection. Trying to generate a false equivalence to pull some more people into their orbit. And as can be seen on this and other threads use language that demonises whole groups of people, not their beliefs, not their ideals, the people themselves. So yes, hard left policies that stifle innovation may be a threat to economic progress, the hard right policies however are a threat to people’s fundamental rights to exist

So you have prominent left wing commentators challenging some of the extremes on the left in some us colleges as an example of the entire left being out of control?

And they also do a great job of explaining how socialism in an of itself is not extremist like many here profess, but is actually inherent in our systems

Again, of you go scouring the internet for more examples of left wing intolerance. 2 minutes on boards gets plenty of examples of right wing intolerance.

And I don’t see anyone here arguing there are not extremists on both sides, or that intolerance should not be challenged. Just one of those sides seeks to exclude specific identifiable groups of people. The other is looks to exclude specific ideas
