Spoke to Tesla on the phone today. Same story. The left hand doesn’t know what the right is doing. No estimated delivery regardless of April-June dates. They don’t know if a delivery will even happen in that time and regardless of my account now asking to submit payment they don’t have any idea when I’ll be matched.
Via a web chat I asked "When will the current boat loads of cars be assigned to everyone?"
Was told "estimated Mar 30"
So if you're hanging on a cancellation abandon all hope April 1

There's currently a blue LR in existing inventory with tow hitch and FSD. Maybe they're assigning that to you!
My order was an RWD though, not sure they’ll assign that to me? Almost 25k price difference
3.5K reduction doesn't look right. I have same order (but grey not blue). I don't see any such reduction. However, it looks like Tesla has not been giving us the reduction in VRT for EVs with an Open Market Selling Price (OMSP) of less than €50K. My order agreement says that the OMSP is €49,666. This should qualify for a 50% reduction in VRT. According to revenue VRT is 7%. Tesla says that the VRT on my car is €3476; which is about 7% of base price (€44990) + metallic paint (€1200) plus tyre recycling (€13.78). But the VRT should be halved (€1738). As an aside on my order agreement it looks like they charged full VRT twice on the metallic paint. Bottom line is price should be reduced by €1738 (approx) on Model 3 RWD with metallic paint.

First post. Have been learning pitfalls from all so thanks. One watch out is that if you are collecting on behalf of someone and are also financing I had to chase Tesla and AIB personally yesterday to push through for my Wife to be able to sign in a local branch and it only happened at 3pm (branch closed at 4pm). I am on my way up from Cork today. Collecting MY RWD base build ordered around 27th of December. We got our reg a while back so insurance and tax sorted the only thing was the finance agreement. Couldn't get through on the phone so just spammed every email I could to get through to someone.

David from Tesla has just called asking if I can collect the car before the end of March! I told him he’s very famous on boards.ie so he thanks you all and passed a message that he’s trying to respond all queries but extremely busy

Would anyone advise on this as Tesla told me the 4.536€ VRT is correct but then when I checked the order agreement VRT shows 3.627€, which one to believe?

That’s what I’d have thought but David told me due to system issues it was showing incorrectly and correct amount is 4.536€ 🤯 almost a grand difference…

I paid €47810 for my model y blue Im collection mine on Tuesday.what the price they are asking of you for your model y.
€3627 is correct based on 7% of the Total Open Market Selling Price (OMSP), see Revenue.ie (wont let me post a link). However, they have charged VRT twice on the extras, as VRT is included in the €1290 (should be €1200) and this is added to the base price to get the OMSP.
How much are you paying for the car.
Simple to sort this out without the headache of worrying about the vrt, vat etc

The car price is 49.170 as I added metallic blue for 1200€.
RWD in blue should be €47,811.
Check your original invoice and if that's what you've already paid, ignore all other requests or balance remainders.

That just car price if your paying cash it €47811.I think €49170 Is the price if your doing a trade in of another car so they charge you the car price but not 100% on that doh.
