Many of them will join that elite reserve regiment similar to the famous British regiment QOD now known as the KOD ( Kings Own Deserters).
Ya why would you rejoin. There is no more cannon fodder appearing that you can push ahead of you to die.
It interesting there is no more sign of Chechens on the front lines. I think they were more intelligent than Wagner troops
They got the f@@k out of there late last year.
It seems things are getting worse for Wagner. One of the reasons they have stalled in Bakhmut is that many of their contracts to their mercenaries are due to end about now. I doubt that many will opt in for another 6 months of death and destruction especially with a new Ukrainian offensive about to start.
Norway,Sweden,Denmark and Finland join forces to form a nordic airforce against Russia
How long will it last. See we are non binary now. Will he be gone by midnight.
Grammar has taken a noticible hit. Can’t get bot-posters who have a strong enough grasp of English? It appears that the usage of nouns has been the main victim in this latest Russian «attack»
Welcome back - its been a while
Russia is going in defence and Ukraine in offense
Exactly, but i guess corruption needs to be added to the russian cost, and also Russia imports alot of electronics for their avionics from the west
There are lots of posts on the effectiveness of the sanctions on Russia, to the effect that they are basically worse than useless, they hurt us more than Russia etc. yet, in any of the so called peace proposals, always high on the list is the "Immediate lifting of sanctions", For sure they are hurting, and will hurt even more in future when they are increased. They are slowly choking Russia.
And are also fully aware of the consequences of using them. Even their so called "Friends", the Chinese will not tolerate that.
After Russia is removed from Ukraine, what's to stop them ( Ukraine ) becoming full fledged NATO members? Then we will see how many Missiles Russia lobs across the border from territory into Ukraine.
For sure, the incidents I spoke about were no joke, . There's nothing much to joke about if you are living in Russia I can tell you.
Since then, he has posted battlefield videos online, at least once broadcasting his unit’s precise location to everyone, including the opposing side. He used his story to solicit donations. “I was in Kuwait during Desert Storm, and I was in Iraq after 9/11,” Mr. Vasquez said in a fund-raising video. He added, “This is a whole different animal.”
Mr. Vasquez, in fact, was never deployed to Kuwait, Iraq or anywhere else, a Pentagon spokeswoman said. He specialized in fuel and electrical repairs. And he left the Army Reserve not as a sergeant as he claimed, but as a private first class, one of the Army’s lowest ranks.
More on James Vasquez and the other American fraudsters operating on Ukraine.

A few weeks ago I believed that bakhmut would fall in a week or so or at least the Ukrainians would have to withdraw completely, as it didn't seem to make sense to hold on and risk enciclement. It came very close but it appears that Ukraine is slowly winning the 'arm wrestle'.
I have to wonder to myself if the Russians have ever thought about how they're laying siege to a city exactly 80 years since Stalingrad, via a stalling Winter offensive, using vehicles with an ominous symbol displayed proudly on them and maybe pause to ask themselves arewethebaddies.jpg?
What was a bit of a surprise was the analogy of the American Carpenter and material costs and the same costs for the Russian Carpenter. According to that, there's not all that much difference cost wise between what the Russian and the US each spend on aircraft.
There is no way on Earth that those zombies will voluntarily compensate Ukraine unless they are forced to by the withholding of trade.
They will ask why they themselves are not being compensated.
They are a blight on the human race.
Great analysis on the Russian winter offensive and the reasons why Ukraine stayed in Balhmut

The MegaZord is on standby.
Most of Russian regulars seem to be doing little according to reports the last few months or more.
Bakhmut front is all wagner, who have their own artillery and planes
Donetsk front is DNR militia
Only at Ugledar and in north Luhansk are there actual Russian army operating, incl RU airforce. It seems the modus operandi is to let others do the dirty work and the dying.
RU will never have air superiority, but they are also not a depleted airforce. Likely political reasons in airforce that mean they arent as active as others, self preservation for airforce really as they would get shot down. Far too many MANPADs and AA batteries.
My opinion on the aircraft situation is that the maintenance of their air fleet has been poor, they don't have enough well-trained pilots, and they're afraid of a MANPAD waiting under every bush. This is based on what we have been seeing within other branches of the Russian military. It's certainly going to be closer to the truth of the matter than the Russians are holding back on unleashing their aerial power because they just felt like giving the Ukrainians a sporting chance.
Yep "culmination" seems to be the word (hopefully).
The seized money from the oligarchs will be used for reconstruction.
Why are you trying to defend the indefensible?
Like everything else in the russian military their air force is mostly a fiction. If it was as great as you say it would have squashed the Ukrainians ages ago.
If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and quacks like a duck... then it's a duck. They don't really have the capability to impose themselves in Ukrainian airspace.
Presumably what capacity they do hold, they think it better to reserve this for the defence of Russia itself, if needed.
I hope that this is true. My big fear was that Zelensky was overruling the generals on attempting to hold Bakhmut.
I honestly thought it was only a matter of time until it fell. That British MoD update sounds very promising though.
If Wagner can't take Bakhmut then Prigozhin may has well off himself right now and save himself the worry
What's your opinion on the aircraft situation
Having more planes than your enemy doesn't matter much if you cannot, or will not, use them effectively; if you will not properly leverage that advantage. Russia can clearly appreciate the tactic of massing men, but they can't do that with planes? It doesn't make any sense. There's obviously more to the story than "Russia has more planes than Ukraine, but aren't doing that much with them because, uh...".
You've always known something since when you first posted on here in January, wether that be bakhmut or anything else .
Yeah 😂
Anyone that thinks Russia has air superiority in Ukraine could do themselves a favour and google a definition.
Anyone that thinks Russia has air supremacy in Ukraine could do themselves a favour and check in to their nearest loony bin.
