That’s a standard type 2 connection, you should have got a type2 cable with the car, mine was in the sub boot under the floor, what you have is a standard EO charger
Can we see the cable, as Thumper said, thats a type 2 so it should work. As long as you have a type 2 cable, you cant go wrong.
A pic of the cable and you trying to insert it into the wallbox should suffice.
I hesitate to even ask this but you're not trying to plug in the wrong end into the socket, by any chance?

Your EO charge point is compatible with pretty much every EV on the market.
You are either using the wrong cable (maybe the granny cable?) or you are connecting the wrong end of the Type 2 cable.

I had a strange problem with a type 2 plug fitting into the car at one point. The type 2 plug was on the end of a Hyundai granny charger and the car was VW. There was a bit too much plastic on the bottom of the type 2 plug which a mini grinder sorted, then it worked fine.
I know they were two different brands, but the type 2 should have been identical. Maybe there is a slight difference on the Tesla plug that only gets in the way of that particular charger.
Can you see what is stopping the plug from engaging, or is it engaging properly but not starting a charge?
Are any of the pins on cable maybe bent?
The price of the M3 RWD has dropped to 43558 now. It's changed as such on my account as well..
Picking up at 12.30pm tomorrow and no sign of a reg yet. At what point should I start to panic and start trying to make a call so I can sort insurance.

I was thinking the same thing. I have the same EO charger for my current E-Golf and a mate had his M3 charging off it over the weekend so it does work :)

My guess is you're opening the charge port on your car but not unlocking it.
I probably missed it, but what car do you have? On my old Model S, if I used the key, I would hold the back of it and the port would open. I needed to keep my finger on the key for 2 more seconds and port would unlock.
If you don't have a key, make sure the port is unlocked on the screen. It will re-lock if there is no charger input after about a minute or so.
He said the cable doesn’t fit into the wall charger. Not the car based on my reading of it.
We collected 2x MY RWD WoW yesterday at noon. Very simple, not busy less than a minute inside the office. Exterior wise one has the protection film with some bubbles otherwise all ok. We could see one of the cars was used as a waiting lobby as some setting were not on the default. For ex in this car the music was on and the radio stations saved. The steering wheel feedback was set for sport, AC was ON and missing the cert of conformity. On the other car everything was on default and SoC of 30%. Having said that both were with 11 km odo. Compared to Model3 I think Y is a bit noisier, definitely missing the punch in acceleration. Even Kona seems a bit more punchier from the stand still. Not sure if it is the tyres or just the empty boot but there is a low drone which I don't have in 3LR. Also when starting from standstill there is a motor whine again not present with the old model3. The lack of USS and beeps is eerie but I'm used to Teslas reverse cameras. I don't complain as I kept the sounds on the model 3 for my wife, who was really disappointed that the Y doesn't tell the distance to near objects. Shes not a keen driver so probably won't park in tight spaces very soon. I think the car maneuvers as well as model3 probably helped by the raised driving position.

This is the first time any Tesla has qualified for reduced VRT (under €50,000 before grant). It looks like they just didn't take this into account!

A common misunderstanding.. Pricing is the same. The headline figure that people focus on is EUR44,990, but that is before VRT and also before the SEAI grant of 5000. When you factor these into account the actual cash price is EUR43,558.. This is same price for months
What was the issue? You using the wrong cable?
I thought the cash price previously was €44370
What's the dashcam issue? Do you have the USB stick installed in glove box?
Didn’t realise the car comes with two charge cables , the one for home charging was stuck in at the back

Yeah… but ya wrong. The VRT has been reduced. This is my original order agreement.. the vrt is higher on it than now
