Got VIN Monday (cancelled order), text Tuesday to say arrival date is being calculated and nothing since. App just says delivery 27th Mar-31st Mar. Presume I get a text or mail to confirm delivery date soon? Not paying a cent (or trading my current car) till I get that. :) Balance is wrong on account but reading here that seems common issue.

Just yourself and your driving license, unless you have a trade in, that’s worth bringing! Or if you are financing via Tesla and AIB you might need some supporting documentation as you only sign for the loan on collection

Collected M3 this evening after getting sorted with the insurance and apart from the weather was a good experience. Arrived a few minutes early and only had 2 people ahead of me. 10 minutes later it's sorted and I'm in my car.
Wanted to give the car a good look over on the outside but with heavy rain it was difficult. All looked well though and the inside was spotless. 12 km on the odometer and & 29% charge. Only issue I've spotted is I cannot get the dash cam to come on.
Overall delighted with the car, still can't believe it's mine. Need hours in it just to go through all the options. Just need to think of excuses to drive. Proud new owner of an EV 😄

Euro equivalent of that price is about €45k. A RWD model here list is €44,990 - so discounted UK price is same as list price here 🤷♀️
Unfortunately I discovered this evening that the home charger I had fitted last July ( when I had an MG ZS ordered ) is not compatible with the Tesla , the charger cable does not fit into the socket of the wall charger, seeing as I’ve already collected the charger grant , I imagine I won’t get a grant for the Tesla home charger?
I’ve the Granny cable plugged into the car but looks like Il be relying on the public charger now for a while

What kind of charger do you have? The MG ZS is type 2 so is Tesla, you shouldn’t have any issues. Tesla will work with any type 2 charger! Is your ChargePoint untethered? If so the Tesla comes with a 4-5M type 2 charging cable

Mg and tesla are type 2 so should work.
No grant no.
But, the chargers should be the same. they are both Type 2.

Collected Model Y P this morning @9.30. Before going into the popup I was looking around the car park and spotted a spotted what I thought was my car , but reg was a "D" reg instead of a "DL" reg - it was below 2000 so knew it wasnt possible for a 231 Dub Reg.
It did turn out that they had put Dublin plates on instead of Donegal plates but they had the plates switched out in 5 mins.
Outside of car was reasoably clean, couldn't see and paney gaps and only noticed one area where there were pottential swirl marks. Few scuff marks in the inside but generally ok.
Car had 29% on collection, naviagted to Ionity Kill Southbound but the whole Circle K site was out (this was about 10.15am), ballards accross entrance and exit with staff members turnig cars away.
Went to Ionity Kill Northbound and initial charging speed was just under 190 which I was suprised at considering I was only pre heating for 10 mins.
Drove back up North this afternoon, stopped off in Castlebellingham for a quick topup.
Mostly UK staff at collection today, for anyone financing with Aib even though I presented driving license they were also looking for a photo copy of license (and proof of PPS number). Had to take a picture of license and revenue letter and email them to staff member before being able to proceed with signing the documentation.
The chap I was dealing with in Tesla emailed me about having proof of PPSN and copy of driver license and Perot of address, all printed out and ready to go, don’t be needing that shite at collection time. Bad form if you weren’t told, or did you not read your emails 😂

Yeh the message I got from Sandyford yesterday was to bring "Photo Id" and proof of a pps number, didnt say to bring Photocopies 😄

I haven't seen any complaints about the lack of USS. Have they sorted out Tesla vision or how are you finding parking etc?
Has anyone found a way of reliably and easily folding back the parcel shelf on the Model Y?
Its usually taking me at least 3/4 times to get it to stay even partially back.
Don't know why they didnt just use the same design as the new model S where it just folds back over itself.

I'd definitely prefer USS, but just need to deal with it I suppose. Managing it by reversing in everywhere and also pulling up all 3 cameras. Press right button on the wheel and say "show cameras" or the camera icon in the list at the bottom of the screen.
The cameras should all pop up automatically when you engage reverse.
They do, but I've been using them sometimes other than in reverse.
