The NY Case isn't the one that Trump should be worried about..
The Federal case against him relating to the classified documents just got very interesting.
A Judge has agreed that one of Trump Lawyers has to testify and has removed the Attorney-Client privilege block because the Special Counsel has presented "strong Prima Facie Evidence" that Trump broke the law and lied to his lawyers thereby resulting in them presenting false statements to the FBI regarding the documents.
For a Judge to remove Attorney-Client protections the evidence must be pretty overwhelming to be honest , that is not something that a Judge will permit for a fishing expedition.
Trump is in real trouble there.
One commentator said they'd been a prosecutor for 20+ years and never saw that happen. This to my uneducated eye is a super big deal. I'm going to ask some of the US lawyer family members about it whether they've seen or heard of such. Probably in high-level RICO cases, which might be what's coming. That's another rumor about what Smith is bringing from the DOJ - not that the documents themselves were the point, but what TFG was going to do with them (like, gift them to his Saudi friends in order to have a safe haven.)
Lest we forget, there were names of deeply embedded intel resources on some of them, which I suspect the Bad Guys would have paid plenty for (like, a $2bn float for TFG's zombie son-in-law)
Not to mention the letter was sent to the FEC which means they already have that letter. Plus Guiliani said in an interview on Fox News that Cohen was reimbursed for the $130,000 over a few different payments put down as "expenses".
I mean, the alternative is that Cohen decided off his own back to pay $130k of his own money to pay off a porn star that Trump had an affair with. I like most of the bosses I've had over the years. I don't think I'd ever like any of them that much.
So the question becomes did the money for the "expenses" breach any campaign finance regulations.
Just in relation to the $2B that Kushner got, it has to be remembered the MBS personally intervened to get him that money and gave him much more than he asked for as well.
Kushner looked for an investment from the Saudi Sovereign investment fund and his application was reviewed by the board.
That board is made up of a variety of serious financial heavy hitters from Saudi Arabia - Former Finance Ministers , the CFO from Saudi-Aramco etc.
They reviewed Kushners plan and their feedback was that it was a very poor plan and that Kushner and his team simply didn't have the experience or ability to manage the fund appropriately so their recommendation was to reject the proposal.
MBS - for the 1st time ever , overruled the Board and not only approved the investment to Kushner but gave him twice what he asked for.
Now , what could Jared Kushner possibly have to warrant such largesse from MBS???

Lots of people seem to forget that he was described as an "Un-indicted co-conspirator" in the original Cohen case and the only reason he wasn't charged and convicted at the time was that he was protected by the nonsense concept that a President can't be charged with a crime.
He's getting convicted in NY and it looks like he could be in really serious trouble in the Federal case regarding the Mar-a-lago documents.

The DA will not win this case for multiple reasons
1) The Statute of limitations has expired, its 2 years, 5 under certain circumstances.
Its now 7 years later.
The five-year period only applies if the DA can establish felony falsification of records which will be very difficult to prove.
If Bragg cannot prove the felony, one is left with misdemeanor falsification of records and the two-year statute of limitations applies.
2) The Star witness is a convicted criminal
Bragg is completing the narrative for Trump.
He is giving Trump the perfect example of the very thing that Trump has been complaining about for years, that he is being targeted for political purposes.

The prosecutor doesnt have a case worth bringing. The purpose of taking the case is to hinder Trumps election campaign, more muck throwing from the DNC.

The CNNs of a the world love a Trump story. It gives them ratings. They have nothing to report on Biden since his approval rating has hit a new low. Trumps visibility had began to wane and thats detitrimital to his re election campaign should he decide to run again. Democrats should have left him fade out. The publicity Alvin has given Trump is worth millions upon millions. Trump got it all for free. His supports will reactivate because Americans don't like unconstitutional political prosecutions. Even Chris Cuomo agrees. When its all over Bragg's effort will just be another failure onto the list
