Dunno know but I've an email from them saying " We're expecting a May Delivery" make of it what you will.. or like.. take it with a grain of salt ;)
Was that predominantly motorway driving to Galway?
Standard range?
Looks great
I had to email them as the option was locked on the site
Which one is you? I have lost track of who is getting what..
Best of luck..👍️
Enjoy guys.
All the cars look spotless. Now to keep them that way!
Perfectly normal and ties in with my predictions of 330km at motorway speeds.
ah just missed it so - ordered my MYLR Black 15th Jan - was supposed to be Feb- Mar delivery then went July - August now gone back to April - June - so who knows at this point was going to go look for something else as only test drove a white one so had never seen a black - but it looks so good I'll wait for it now - I even like the standard wheel covers on it - was thinking of having the alloys painted black but maybe not now 🤞
What's there email address if you don't mind sharing?
Anyone have a number for the delivery team? I've been trying 01 513 4727 for the last day but been on hold for 45mins to an hour each time before having to disconnect. Have requested callback yesterday but not had any contact.
Yes
Rainy Galway
Not great weather, strong winds and wet roads. But not very cold. Also bms probably as yet not properly calibrated, plus hidden range remaining at zero. As @Gumbo says probably about normal..
Aye, standard range RWD.
Worth noting that the 330 km prediction includes the hidden range “if applicable” on the MY. It will be interesting to see if there’s an increased buffer like some M3’s delivered last time. Although k think they were reset by a depletion run?
Im basing it off a 57.5 kWh useable pack.
Mine is RWD, not LR. I did meet a couple at Ionity (who had collected just before me at Tesla) with a black MYLR with Induction wheels - which they ordered middle of February. Given the spreadsheet on this forum, I'm very surprised they got it at that stage. Looked ace!
Black on black is a cool combo. I just couldn’t live with it daily.
A seamless delivery. Arrived a bit ahead of the 3.30pm delivery slot. Car was parked up out front, and the handover inside was over in about 2 minutes and I was on my way (after getting to know the screen and settings for about ten minutes). Parked up at home and having the first full charge and software update now.
The car was clean, inside and out. No apparent scratches or damages and was delivered with a 24% charge.
Has anyone looked at the existing new inventory on Tesla UK site? It's literally insane and over here we don't have cars to be delivered.
https://www.tesla.com/en_GB/inventory/new/m3?arrangeby=plh&zip=SW1V%203JD&range=0
I see they have fixed the delivery dates in the app
What's the situation with buying a car from northern Ireland these days? I read you have to pay vat but can claim back the UK vat. Then it's just vrt?
I'm not too sure about the process but the value of UK import cars are less compared to irish reg.
Sorry so I get this straight the Op got 160km with 46% left - so consumed 54%. That would mean a range of 296km for that style of driving. Are you saying that you could drive for another 34km ish on 0% left? Surely its the other way around, and most users should not be planning to go much lower than 10% so the realistic useable range is more like 270km?
U.K. list price seems higher than Irish when you account for VRT and our higher VAT rate.
Discounted white Model Y ex UK Vat of 20% so £42,350 becomes £35,291 or €40,039.
Add Irish VAT to that and its €49247, VRT €3537 = €52,784 - €5000 grant = €47,784 so roughly a grand dearer than here. Potentially that explains why they are not shipping to Ireland
That makes sense. Do you think you'd still get the grant? And would revenue charge you VAT on the full price (uk including vat price) that you paid?
That was a family member of mine, she couldn't have spoken higher about the help you gave today, thanks a million.
Collected MY today at 3:30pm. Handover and car was perfect in every way. One small thing to watch out for those still to collect was I did not get a insurance disc/tax holder.
There's your 4! (From FB).
No one there when I arrived. MYLR arrived shortly after and CE reg was just pulling in when I was leaving so didn't miss you by much rx8..... probably saw you at Tesla!
ah very good - yes surprising that a non standard one was delivered so quickly - I didn't opt for Induction wheels as that killed the grant - thought keeping it standard would mean quick delivery but hey I have stopped trying to figure out what Tesla are doing in this space - Have sold my ICE VWTiguan in anticipation of Feb - March delivery so under pressure now - but nothing to do but wait - Good luck with yours sounds great and looks awesome so will be worth the wait - hopefully not til August though!
Great pic. Especially with the diesel / petrol prices in the background.
