Spend €10 for my one
I picked up a €3 fruit and veg box today, full to the brim with bananas apples grapes and mushrooms, all the ones of seen before hand looked poor enough
it's for a minimum 10 euro net spend: ie. after all other discounts are applied, and before the soap is added.
a person at the till had some bakery items in the brown bag and the soap , but shopping was under 10 euro : he tried to make a case for it: it's says free....you're tricking people with small print at the bottom of the page, etc ..
The person at the till: it says the minimum 10 euro spend right on the front of the app deal - on top of the word FREE !
Priceless !!
The smaller text lets you know you have to spend 10 euro to get the FREE GIFT
The ASAI are looking into it, they even wasted a stamp to let me know, in case the email wasn't enough notice for me.
I suppose they have to spend the money on something...
See it now in very small print, have to spend €10. That's easy.
You must spend 10
Snap! Same experience here.
I went to my local as well at about 8.05am. Not one package of the regular "Kearney's" porridge oats, but loads of the organic version of Kearney's and the one in the wider "Pringles" type of tube (which I think is possibly microwaveable porridge). Also loads of the Flahavans regular porridge.
Last week there were about 5 full boxes of the stuff on the shelf, but this week, 5 minutes into a giveaway, an almost empty (of customers) store has mysteriously got no stock remaining? Who do Lidl think they are kidding with this routine? Third or fourth time this has happened with the Parkrun porridge since last autumn.
The alternative option was a higher value pack of organic lemons, but one that I suspect is likely to appeal to fewer people than the porridge. I suppose I can use them for something. Make pancakes or lemon drizzle cake or something like that. LOL
Definitely something has changed high up in the decision making at Lidl Ireland - and not for the better.
Love ya Lidl caahier!
i got the oats at 1pm and plenty of stock to be had
Last time the offer ran, there was plenty of stock in my local while others posted about empty shelves.
So I made a point of popping into a few other stores I passed over the next few days to satisfy my curiosity and indeed most were entirely bereft of that specific porridge while my busy local never ran out.
Go figure! 🤷
I'm mainly splitting my purchases between lidl and tesco, mostly because the logistics suit.. Manage to keep the spendy things until there are offers in either, laundry detergent etc. However the prices and availability of things have both changed quite a lot. I keep an eye on prices elsewhere and they really aren't enough different for me to divert to..
Absolutely agree that the lidl app is gone to crap..
Its probably down to the store manager if they want to put the stuff in the back (i assume the only benefit to this would be not needing to re-order a pallet if it) or keep it on the shelves.
Hi had to make new account my old one I couldn’t log in forgot password
Anyway that toffee roulade they had on offer tasted and smelled like germoline the antiseptic cream I served it for dessert tonight and ruined my evening lol it was my niece that made that observation and everyone agreed it was half price for a reason
That's a shame, anything with the Deluxe label is usually excellent.
It’s hardly half price to clear it, they have stocked that for a long while now and it it wasn’t selling they would simply not stock it any longer
Market research is what they're doing with the lidl app, gives them all the information they need with the digital receipt, and yes it's up to each individual store manager how they run the offers, just like the 2 good 2 go in some aldis are shite and some are class.
Didn't see the spend €10, mentioned at till that it said free, she gave me 1.20 back.
I've several times noticed this practice of clearing (or nearly clearing) the shelves and replacing an offered item with a more expensive version. It seems a deliberately underhand policy in some stores. I've actually reported it to Lidl customer service - who didn't act to correct it. This later point is worrying because it suggests tacit approval from HQ.
You'd swear the minimum wage employees were working on commission.
They're not. Management are.
You did well with the lemons. My local had neither
No oats at two of the local shops..grabbed orgamic lemons and pickled them
The porridge has been out of stock since Thursday in my local.
They should change from scratch and win as you are winning really nought just a discount
No pink Lady apples in either Lidl near me that are 40% off in the Treats. Both had the fun-size Pink Lady.
No parkrun lemons in either Lidl..
I got the apples today
on a side not the eggs in my local were completely wiped out
Same here no eggs today
Does anyone know if Spotify vouchers can be used with the €3 off when spending €30 offer?
It’s in the T&C on the coupon ………. Cannot be used with gift cards
I used €3 off with €60 gift card yesterday
