Its not on the door cill/pillar stickers. Based on VIN decoder websites they appear to be early Jan 2023 manufactured but its not an exact science to get the date from the VIN... just an estimate.

From memory there is usually a sheet of paper called something like "Certificate of Conformity" which indicates month of manufacture, However this is likely to be an academic exercise as I have no doubt that all cars being picked up now will have been manufactured in 2023.. Tesla, when they introduce changes like this (longer seats) never advertise them or say they are available and you will not see them mentioned on their website and most likely they will also use existing stocks before using new ones.. It is what it is..
Anyone else have issues on collection? I've a couple of small paint chips on one of the front arches. I booked it in with Tesla to log it and have an appt next week. Like, they're really small but it's just an annoying thing on a brand new car.
Alignment and panel gaps are spot on. No issues there.

It’s an easy fix but it’s really sloppy to handover a brand new car with that. A small child could have done a better job of putting that on. Do Tesla not have any sort of factory QC checks as this sort of thing isn’t transport damage ?
Zippity doo da. I'm not particularly hopeful about the HOEGH BANGKOK. VINs have already appeared for other customers for cars on the ship, so I don't understand why they wouldn't also have been issued for Irish customers at the time of our cars were on it. Also, Tesla are obviously not shipping across the end of quarter for Q1, so any ships on the high seas at the end of this month will likely be a few outliers. Finally, if there were cars on the ship, I think they would arrive before the Apr 24 -> window. Tesla usually overpromise and underachieve so I expect our cars to arrive after May 10.
Saw my first 231 Tesla, Blue M3 WW reg, leaving the N11, late morning. Assume it was collected this morning. Another 11 days before I get my MY.
Thanks, arrived in Sandyford with 20% battery and the place to myself. Charging experience was great, plugged in, watched netflix. A guy in a Model 3 taxi with funky door handles pulled in to charge so had a quick chat with him. Stopped on the way home to Cork in Ballacolla, didn't need to charge but I needed to use the toilet and grabbed a coffee, added another 20% in the time it took to do that. Serious lack of public lighting there and it could do with a bin or two as well.

My gut feeling is that salt water got behind the film. I’d say it’s most definitely transport related damage.
The 1001st refresh was the magic one - just got my proof of registration for Tuesday.
Where did the reg show up? I have delivery on Tuesday as well, and like yourself, keep refreshing my account.

Got a text from Tesla with the registration. Insurance done and waiting for motortax to become active (reg and last 6 digit's or VIN)

you don’t need tax for collection so don’t be stressing over it.
Surely if the film was applied properly, no water could get behind it even if the cars were on an open deck ?
Yes most definitely. Could have been rushed or just bad batch. It’s the only one I’ve heard of from the first round of deliveries.
I have had an MYRW on order since mid-Jan 23. I’ve seen the Estimated Delivery move from Feb – Mar to Apr – May and, currently, June 16 - August 30. I occasionally keep an eye on the Inventory to see if I can get out of this loop.
I know there is no SEAI grant on orders over €60K, but even if I see an MY under €60K, there is no mention of the SEAI grant (note the only ones I have seen under €60K are Demo, so maybe that’s the reason). If the grant is not detailed in the Inventory, is that something you can get afterwards, or is it just no grant available? Please message me if anyone can advise of a better purchase route. Thanks.
I think if a car has done more than 50km it’s not considered ‘new’ under SEAI grant conditions and therefore doesn’t qualify.
SEAI €5k discount is shown on inventory vehicles if they qualify.
The price in the inventory includes the grant if applicable.
Obviously the demo cars are second hand so they’ve had the grant at time of registration.
FYI i got my two deposits for the two cars i cancelled refunded by Tesla today .
This is a 54k+ car? Not a Nissan micro. It’s bellow expectations no matter how hard you try
Nope its not, its 47.8k+ car. 54k would be a long range.
