Anyone else have issues on collection? I've a couple of small paint chips on one of the front arches. I booked it in with Tesla to log it and have an appt next week. Like, they're really small but it's just an annoying thing on a brand new car.
Alignment and panel gaps are spot on. No issues there.
From memory there is usually a sheet of paper called something like "Certificate of Conformity" which indicates month of manufacture, However this is likely to be an academic exercise as I have no doubt that all cars being picked up now will have been manufactured in 2023.. Tesla, when they introduce changes like this (longer seats) never advertise them or say they are available and you will not see them mentioned on their website and most likely they will also use existing stocks before using new ones.. It is what it is..
Its not on the door cill/pillar stickers. Based on VIN decoder websites they appear to be early Jan 2023 manufactured but its not an exact science to get the date from the VIN... just an estimate.

I checked the label on my 3 and it doesn't show build date. Just type approval, VIN, weights, paint code and something about the lights.

Yeah me too. I’m trying to understand why the 2023 rear seat changes don’t seem to be in this batch. Wondering if these are clear out of old configurations.
Can you get that info in the app? I think it was 20 mins from 75-100%. We were going straight from baldonnel to visiting family hence the full charge.
I was so distracted trying to figure stuff out I didn't notice the time going by.
I'm interested when the cars collected where built.
Be grateful if you can share the build date located on the data badge inside the car, usually inside one of the door jams.

Someone collected car even one day before his collection, hear that staff is nice and friendly.
I did a few days ago and she said we should expect a Q2 delivery. Fingers crossed.

Collected our MY RWD this morning at 9.30 (arrived about 20mins early and plenty others there early). Came with mudflaps etc. Thought they had forgotten the tow hitch, but if came in a bag in the frunk, and apparently it's a simple job to fit / remove.
Collected with 27% charge, made it to Johnstown House Hotel SuC where we charged to 100% - saw two other MYs en route to charge.
Now that some cars have arrived, what tyres come on the MY LR ? I am getting a MY LR with 20’ induction wheels .

I was thinking exactly the same, but the guy who gives the updates on that tmc thread was saying there are no boats on the way at present with cars for Ireland. If Dream Orchid does indeed have a few cars for Ireland, wouldn’t the VINs be assigned by now?
Picked mine up earlier, taxi failed to show meaning I was stranded in Adamstown🤣 managed to get another about an hour later.

Dream orchid is off the coast of Spain. Surely VIN would be assigned well before now if this was for Ireland? Nobody (that I know of in this forum) has a vin outside of the current deliveries ongoing
PPF patch is to be replaced. Something got under it alright.

Firstly congrats to everyone who's collected so far... ya lucky ducks :D Secondly, can you tell the rest of us what came with the car? I read somewhere that the "protection pack" came with them now containing mudflaps. Ta muchly :)
Like other's have said its confirmed as an IT bug and Tesla are "Aiming for May delivery". Between that, prices in the inventory going up and down at will and the VRT issue with peoples payments there's been a lot of bugs lately for an AI Tech company
In past years apparently it was when the ship was going through Suez Canal; however, I got mine and looked up the ship it was on and that was off the coast of Singapore. It seems like Tesla were doing their best to expedite the process.

Dream Orchid may be an interesting one. It's stopping in Southhampton (UK orders only) and then Zeebrugge in Belgium. Irish orders come via Zeebrugge since brexit. Car would be carrying RHD due to Southhampton stop, so it may also just be carrying a few extra for Ireland.
