Has anyone got offered DSP, anyone know if they are working from home or in the office or what kind of blended working they are doing?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21 crobo1981

friend of mine works in DSP and it depends what your role is , i think just under 50% of the 6000 employees are offered blended working

@crobo1981 yes it is v slow moving. I was 46 on the open and 15 inter I think that’s what they have called for interview so far. My number changed then after interview I was batch 3, 4 on the interd

If you are put into the NPT there is more flexibility for WFH. If you are put into the local office I think it’s 1 maybe 2 days a week from home. Correct me if I’m wrong!

I had my Internal interview nearly 2 weeks ago. When should I expect the results 😁

@westhamlady no not yet, I think once you pass clearance they then offer u the place. I know the section I’m in are looking for EO’s but wouldn’t mind a change. Best of luck to u with ur placement 🍀

Does anyone know how long PAS give your references to get back to them?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 126 ✭✭Iggy1986

Just received an email from PAS this afternoon regarding pre clearance, will send the documents back tonight. I’m 136 OOM for the open Dublin competition

    HI,

When providing reference details, do they have to be for the line manager, or will any managers reference suffice?

    Thanks

Has anyone here been interviewed in the latest batch?

If so, how did you find the interview and any idea when results will be out?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10 okaydo

I asked PAS and the said one work reference - HR and one character reference - eg supervisor. I put down HR and two superiors. They only contacted HR.

Were you notified of your department soon after your pre clearance checks were completed?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 270 ✭✭apkmbarry

They're waiting on documents from me, and I haven't been given a deadline or anything. Just they'll be back in contact "in due course". I assume it's just so long as you don't take the piss.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 30 TY76

    The email says:

"Reference details for the last 2 years, including current employer details (form attached for completion). Your current referee will not be contacted without your permission, but please note a reference from your current employer is required in order to be deemed suitable for assignment. In the case of CS Referees, a reference request will be sent directly to Central HR of the Organisation. If you have not been in employment for any length of time during this 2 year period, please provide details of a referee who would be willing to supply a character reference, for example a contact from your period of education."

I have been with my current employer 4 years. So, I presume it is a reference from my manager.

Once I got email to confirm I passed clearance, within minutes I got a message on publicjobs.ie advising me of the department I was being assigned to. Within about 10 minutes I got a call from HR of the department I was assigned to.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 126 ✭✭Iggy1986

Thanks for that and best of luck in your new role

    Hi,

I sent in my clearance documents yesterday, but did not get an automatic response, or a reply from clearance as yet.

    Has anyone else experienced this?

    Thanks

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 128 ✭✭OKDublin

No. I got an automated response from the Clearance mailbox.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 126 ✭✭Iggy1986

I sent in my documents Friday and I didn’t get an automated response. I forwarded the same email this morning to ClearanceMailbox@publicjobs.ie and they confirmed they received it

Hi, does anyone know anything on the Donegal panel?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 270 ✭✭apkmbarry

Also double check if it’s the +Clearance mailbox (and make sure to use the + in the email if that’s what they tell you lol)

Does anyone know how long after interviews end in a batch before the results get sent out? Last interview for the current batch for Dublin ended last Thursday. Said 3/4 weeks in my interview last Tuesday, hardly be that long will it?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 46 Wolfskuil

It took exactly a week for me to find out last month. But they did tell me it would take one to two weeks for the results, so perhaps time varies depending on other factors.

They haven't called anybody for interview for the Donegal panels yet - even though there are vacancies in different departments.

Hi There, I hope all are well.

I am wondering if anyone has any update on the Cavan or Longford panel? Any movement or any update on number called so far? Thanks in advance 😊
