It took 16 days from I made the payment until they located it. Still not assigned to my account, but got confirmation that alls is good and that they will register it now.
They said that a small amount of payments had not been processed correctly, so might be an idea to reach out to the person who sent you the email with the payment details.
Car was registered yesterday by Tesla and reg number provided in the morning. Insurance transferred using the reg number but insurer couldn't find the car so I filled in the details manually. Insurance docs do refer to the correct reg.
It's not possible to tax a car until the day after registration (thanks to prev poster who pointed that out!). I've taxed it now this morning no bother.
Roll on 12.30 when I pick it up! 🤩

12.30 here. I'd only do 9.30 if I lived around the corner. I'm in Dublin but it's still a trek there - will be train, luas, and then taxi.
Get the bus to the last stop in Citywest and it's only a few minutes walk away.

Over 800 cars are being collected from Baldonnell according to the FB page.
Just got a reply via SMS from Tesla Advisor that there was a crash in the system (not sure which, the car registration system?) and team is running behind with the registration of cars, but should come soon for thos waiting for it.
Not sure how realiable this is...

wow they posted the pictures with a caption "over 800 teslas". do you think those are all for previous orders or can there be stock to fulfill the recent orders as well? My reference is 83 lines in the shared excel of orders, assuming there had been more interest after price drop, the ones who were waiting should not be 800 imho, am I thinking wrongly?

Appears Aviva is not open for new Business as "Teslas fall outside their acceptance criteria". I suspect they are more accommodating for existing clients who are transferring..
Interesting. Tesla sold 1,318 cars in Ireland in 2022, up from 863 registered in 2021, as per SIMI figures. 800 is a large number and if this is the number for the entire Q1-Q2, then it makes sense.
I thought the same. Hitting nearly a year's number in a single quarter which is also before the discounts in a bad economy is phenomenal. Or much better, there might be Q2 deliveries within that batch.

That would be the dream! But it seems no one has gotten a VIN yet for a Q2 delivery, which I would expect to happen.
Maybe they'll just all show up in inventory at some point.
