From the front.
Way too many questions on that one 😂😂
probably a pigeon loft
I quite like this place but the renovation cost...
Every time you threw 100k into it twould just laugh at you and tell you it tickles
..
1 bed.
No front or back garden.
Previous owner presumed frozen to death
It is gorgeous.
Though I'm not sure what's professional about the kitchen....looks extremely standard.
Also not a hope I'd be using a ladder everyday to get up and down to bed....the wardrobes are up there too, so carrying clean laundry and navigating a ladder....I'd be living in A+E.
1.2 M ...... some dope will probably pay it, but for me divide that figure by 10. (Yeah I know location etc but nope!!)
1.2m gives you a washing machine in the bedroom. I remember when 44k could buy house with its own harbor there.
It's probably the best or one of the best roads in dalkey but I can't see who pays 1.2m for that
That's crackers money, for a one bedroom house.
I know, I know, location and all that but no, that's cracked.
I often think of the original owners of houses like that - imagine if they could see what their houses now sell for 😁
The description is also awful, written by the current owner.
This is, on the other hand, very nice. I'd take this and keep the million euro difference...
I was expecting a gleaming stainless steel kitchen fit for a professional chief. But in this case I think 'professional' means not built/installed by the seller's father.
From 2017.
I think that's a second, loft bed, up the ladder. The main bedroom is on the ground floor.
So was I!!!
Plus copper pots hanging from a rack. There's one tiny pot on the hob 😂
Looks like they got into Abit of trouble over planning permission.... drawings not matching what was being built....not sure of final outcome....that's beyond my wheelhouse!
So there's no pictures of the "loft bed" then. That tells you all you need to know so 😂.
Maybe this is the house where the saying "You couldn't swing a mouse around in it" actually originated. 1.2m would be a steal for a house with such historical significance
I love it, it would be perfect for downsizing after retirement and in a great location.
But BER F and €1.2 mill??????
Well spotted! I had to check twice for the washing machine.
Not seeing the washing machine?
edit - oh right! that's subtle!
Caught in the mirror!
Are those rocks sticking out from the wall over the bed? Way to absolutely brain yourself some morning!!!
That's a very cute cottage, to stay in for a week maybe - to live in, no thank you very much - and for 1.2 million, FRO!!!
I bet those pot plants get watered regularly....
So bad, they don't expect you'll get a mortgage 😬
Look at the shelves between the front door and window, it appears to contain a collection of chamber pots.
And no bathroom showing on the plan. It's very expensive given what it will cost to renovate.
Owner is downsizing... From one bedroom cottage.
She's a professional storyteller.
And very nice ones they are too, purely for decorative effect.
It's harder to get a mortgage for a house that needs complete renovation, compared to a few years back.
Banks would want you to have the price of that house yourself and then you get a mortgage to renovate. As well no bathroom. Is the kitchen and upstairs storage a badly done extension that will have to be knocked. To anything with that house you will probably have to get planning.
The seller's might be lucky to find a buyer at 150k.
