That was a very good win. Clare are a very competitive team these last few years and Ennis is a very tough place to go. We found that out the hard way in 1997, after that last second Martin Daly goal ended our summer!
Yeah a very convincing win in Ennis a fine result indeed. John Cleary is doing a great job so far. If only we appointed him manager ten years ago, we'd have been way better off now! I'm sure Clare will be desperate for revenge in the championship, but sure we'll worry about that when it happens!

He rightly wouldn't allow Aidan Walsh go off to the hurlers. Brian Cuthbert did and therefore it was Cuthbert who got the job. Cuthbert then dropped all the senior players in one go. The whole disaster set Cork football back by a decade imo.
We haven't heard from Lupin in a while. Not to worry though, i'm sure he'll be back whenever the hurlers or footballers lose again!😁

The Cork Senior Hurling team to play Wexford in the Allianz League Division 1 Group A Round 4 has been announced
The u20s will play Wexford in a challenge game at 1:45 before the senior game
19 mins gone and we havent scored at all at home. 6 points down. This is really bad stuff. Everyone at walking pace.
Didn't score until the 21st minute, 6 points down at that point but started to get slowly involved in the game thereafter.
Ht and we are 4 points down, they should gwt their game going in the second half.
We got over the line by 2 in the end. A good work out for the team.

A good win in the end. We didn't look that interested in the first half and Wexford were really working hard. Then we got going a bit and began to play. I don't think we were trying that hard to win until near the end. When there is a few points in it, we all want to drive on and get the win.
Another 2 goals scored which is very nice. We really look a goal threat now from a lot of players. Felt a bit sorry for Jack O'Connor getting sent off. He was obviously busting a gut trying to impress but was a small bit reckless.
Great to see Harnedy get a few mins as well as Cadogan. Lot of younger players putting their hands up. Power looks to have a great touch and will be a great asset to bring on in the Championship.
Lot of things we can improve on though and this was a great learning experience. 20 mins without scoring and still pulled out the win.
That was absolute rubbish. Awful performance.
The encouraging thing is that we're winning games, and we still have a fair few of our more experienced players to come back into the team. I'm not overly fussed about winning the league, but still though if we win it it's some national silverware in the bag. We haven't had that since 2005, and it's almost been quarter of a century since we last won the league. I still think though that whoever wins the league, will find themselves in possession of a poisoned chalice going forwards.
Winning whilst not playing well. That's not a bad habit to develop imo.
Wexford were just as bad, we made them look way better than they are. Very disappointed in a number of players today who I thought were having good leagues.
In my opinion I still like to see Cork winning a league if the chance is there. 1998 is far too long ago for Cork since they won a league. It be nice to bridge the gap again. Just my thoughts.
Conditions were abs horrendous.
Came from 6 down, never gave up and dug out a good win.
Lads gave everything and have qualified for a League semi from a tough group with a game to spare.
Couldn't ask for more at this time of the year.
It was the mentality Kilkenny had in the Brian Cody years alright. Whatever trophy is on offer just go for it!
We won and are in the league semi finals, and we still have some regulars from last year to come back into the panel. So far we're ticking along just fine in both codes imo. That of course could change though!
With regards to Wexford, i see them as very much a sleeping giant of a hurling county. A county like Wexford should have more than one senior all Ireland since 1968 imo.
Wexford full strength are excellent but if you look back at our game against them last year , they lost Rory O'Connor early on then O'Keefe and Mathew o hannlon in the last ten minutes , the last two were the difference plus Damien reck was out on his feat , but like ourselves first 15 very strong but weaknesses Start to show when a few are injured,
Cork have used this league well and have got some excellent scoring options out of it off the bench, something that was missing last year
In case anyone didn't realise it but before the senior hurling game we played Wexford as well in a challenge match winning 19 points to 16.

Feel like Brion Saunderson is a future senior keeper. Thought he was outstanding again against Wexford. He has had a good year with UCC too.
