Same here. I was approved in october 2022 🤣. They never answered my emails. Natalie in tesla says its all good.

This happened with me as well, I hope they sort it sooner.
Perhaps because many of their customers cancel their orders shortly before collection? So no point doing unnecessary admin work.

Collecting on Friday morning. Got my reg number this morning but it’s still not actually registered so still can’t sort insurance 🙈
Spoke with Tesla and got told ring back tomorrow if it’s still not working.

Just ordered? yep, mine showed the same way back then.
The reg doesn't need to be in the insurer database to insure it. Fill it in and then there should be an option to manually enter the car. That's what I did on mine this morning. Insurance now sorted but still waiting on motor tax.
Our form is only showing the car as registered as today....so I assume it'll take at least 24hrs to get it on motortax sorted?

Tried with numerous insurers today and none would give a quote without the reg. who did you get insured with ?
I tried to update my policy online with Aviva earlier and I used a high 231 D number, (25000+) I could then manually enter the other details of the car and it came back with €0 to change. If I get a real reg number soon, I could even tax it by Tuesday.
123.ie - they seem to be one of the best for Model 3 quotes from what I've seen.
I was already insured through them, and transferred my policy from my current car.
People without reg plates needn’t panic. I’ve had quite a few cars over the years from various manufacturers- earliest I’ve got a reg is day before pick up & most are on the day. You’ll have your reg a day in advance, if not more. Motor tax updates overnight after car is registered

Tried that trick on Aviva and same here, no change to premium (€310 with full bonus protection etc) - advantage of being old!
I'm not that old, but €310 is my renewal amount too. They even have to add on about €60, as the premium with all the discounts etc, comes in about €250ish. We'll have to get a pic for boardsies, just to prove we were there. (Minimum Aviva Premium is €310 for those that don't know).
55 shortly. 30+ years claims free with Aviva e450 last year and e530 renewal quote last week. Go figure.
I remember years ago being told that my premium would go down at 21, then at 25 and then at 30 and 40 and 50. Seems like they all lied about that, it's 55+ that you get all the savings!!
