Looks like some aircraft is coming available this/next year, not that I expect any will appear in Ukraine any time.
User just joins to post pro russian content from right-wing newspaper.
is that elaboration okay?
And posts a quote made up by odious Proud Boy daddy Gavin McInnes to boot.

I find it strange all these posts of Ukrainians being "sent to death" and having no ammo while Russia fires at them 24/7, yet Russia aren't able to move forward. Someone is firing back at them with something.
I suppose the same can be said from the otherside. Russia aand Wagner out of ammo yet Ukraine aren't moving them back. Must be someone in the middle firing both directions.
Or all these stories are horseshit and ammo/men won't make the difference but whoever uses them the best to gain an advantage
They're killing a lot of Russians with 'no ammo'.
Funny how this works too:
Zelensky Putin is hell bent on keeping taking Bakhmut, pouring men into the area, Russia Ukraine is standing back and bombing night and day, wearing down the Ukrainian Russian forces, why would Russia Ukraine want to change this, Zelensky Putin is sending his men to their death, and thats reported in the by Kiev Independent Yevgeny Prigozhin, a pro Ukraine Russian news paper scumbag.
Anyway, that's my fun done, off you go onto the ignore list until your inevitable deletion from internet existence. We look forward to your next incarnation...
The intended tactic was to fly in front of the drone, dump fuel over it, then to light the afterburner in the hope that the extended Mach diamonds would ignite the fuel.
It obviously didn't appear to work, resulting in the original jet, or its wingman, through more trick-acting, clipping the rear-facing prop with its wing or horizontal stabiliser.
Apparently.
The pilot would want to get that fuel leak fixed then. It might cause a fire or something. 🙄
Why would they go to all this trouble to bring it down? Wouldn't the drone be recording it all back to base in realtime anyway?
If Russia intentionally brought down the drone, does it make any difference whether they shot it down with a missile, dumped fuel over it or blared Alanis Morisette at it until it lost the will to fly?
Your username is "Victory in Ukraine"
Your username isn't "Victory to Ukraine"
Funny that ; )
Russian telegram claiming battle ongoing near Polohy, Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
Interesting if true. Wondering what's going on here.
There is nothing wrong with quoting the daily mail if you use discretion. It's the content that matters, not the container. The DM quotes articles in Nature and other science journals, which doesn't make the content less useful or interesting than going to the original source.
And if you want lots of photos from a breaking story, I know of no better source.
I’m not sure the Daily Mail is the serious tome you think it is.
"Retard", eh?
I hope you've enjoyed your time here.
A retired senior Romanian general claims the Su-27 doesn't have a fuel dump capability:
General (r.) Ștefan Dănilă, the first Air Force General to hold the position of Chief of the General Staff, commented on the incident in the Black Sea where a Russian Su-27 military aircraft crashed an American MQ-9 Reaper drone....
General (r.) Ștefan Dănilă, the first air force general to hold the post of Chief of General Staff, notes an ambiguous note in the message released by the US. He states that Su-27 aircraft do not have the ability to "dump fuel", and explains that given the wingspan of each aircraft, the possibility of hitting the drone's propeller with the aircraft's wing is "at best reduced".
General (r.) Dănilă adds that it may be a matter of a quick interpretation of some flight data. He pointed out that it is possible that we are talking about a dangerous engagement in which the Russian pilots flew the Su-27 at close range to the UAV and affected its jet flight.
"Reckless approach, affecting flight safety. The message of delaying escalation is obvious. The introduction of environmental protection elements, however, induces an ambiguous note in the message. The Su-27 does not have the ability to "dump fuel" outside, and the pilot cannot lever the propeller. Given the wingspan of each aircraft, the possibility of hitting the MQ-9 propeller (20m wingspan) with the Su-27 wing (15m wingspan) is at best limited.
And the possibility of having this information (wing hit propeller) is minimal, it can only be a quick interpretation of some flight data.
Looks like they are starting to probe the Lines.
A stopped clock is also right twice a day. That doesn’t make it a reliable timekeeper.
The Mail is mostly scutter press.
Yes it is, but your stopped clock analogy is misplaced. When the DM is reporting about people, it's usually dire; when it's reporting on events and things not mostly defined by people, it can be reasonably accurate and useful.
A P8 Sub/Ship-hunter is on station at the Black Sea, and has now switched its transponder off.
This was a similar tactic just prior to the Moskva's sinking, which was aided by Intel gathered by a P8 on Station, but dark.
I'd be very surprised if an aircraft which carries a large supply of fuel onboard with no external tanks ,can't drop fuel especially in an emergency,or intentionally for some other reason,
It will be interesting to see the US video when it's released
I don’t share your faith in that paper, sensationalist and unreliable.:
“How Factual Is the Daily Mail?
The Daily Mail scored an average Factual Grade of 39.5%, the second-lowest score in our entire dataset. A range of factors contribute to this low score. In terms of cited evidence and sourcing, articles from the Daily Mail tend to link to other Daily Mail content or to low-quality external sources. Headlines and text are also generally opinionated or sensationalized. Finally, author expertise is low, likely attributable to the wide range of new and unrecognized authors, who fail to demonstrate relevant topical expertise.”

Apologies for getting sucked into these diversions, I generally follow this thread for updates.
Interesting reading the Kremlin Moldova plan
Aged well didn't it
These claims are usually bollocks, but for once the Russians have provided some videos of the alleged attack.
Pretty much any other newspaper is going to be more accurate and useful, though. It's hard to comprehend why anyone would voluntarily read the Daily Mail.
It has been erroneous stated on this forum that the Su-27 is incapable of dumping fuel.
This is factually incorrect. The fuel jettison valves are located in the " stinger" section of the tail. ( the long appendage that sticks out between the engines and vertical stabilisers.)
When fully loaded with fuel and armament, the Su family was unable to make the performance numbers that were so often championed, so it was essential to have the ability to lose weight fast, should the need arise.
Su-27's rarely use external tanks, so wasting fuel was reckless in the case of the drone.
To highlight the above, here is an extract from a 2016 edition of Flight Journal magazine. ( pop the text into Google for reference)
"The range and huge amount of ordnance is actually good news for our guys because, when the Flanker is fully fueled and armed, despite its massive 33,000 pounds of thrust, much of its sparkling performance goes down the tubes. In fact, according to some sources, it has to burn at least 40 percent of its fuel or itís too heavy to allow the pilot to utilize all the performance it offers.
The designers recognized this problem and equipped the airplane with fuel dump valves. Plus it can jettison some of those pesky, and heavy, missiles, to lighten up. "
I'd say you're right there - Ukraine is indeed maintaining forces in Bakhmut - to kill and maim as many Russian bastards as possible. Maybe we should round up a few here and send them over to help Wagner?
Was hoping you would know for certain
Looks like the turks might allow US warships to enter the blacksea via the Bosporus straight,
Arleigh Burkes coming to the show ???
