I'm collecting tomorrow and last contact with them was for ID a few weeks back. I did get my reg this morning and tesla have issued the final invoice to Finance Ireland for the outstanding financed amount. I expect FI will be in contact looking to get that going very soon. NET 3 (not 30!) payment terms which are a bit spicey. 😂
Free car! 😁
Make sense, I’m just kind of “organised” person who prefer to have everything done as soon as possible, no panic, no stress and being ready for any little problems, the way how Tesla works is so crazy.
Looks like I did get an email from Finance Ireland. Rate on the agreement is up to 6.59% from 6.4%.
Tesla.ie just updated EDD for ordering MY to Apr - June 2023!
Same for M3
Since they updated the website to that EDD does that reinforce the notion that we all have incorrect delivery date ranges and that we will receive the cars in Apr - June 2023 timeframe?
Probably been asked multiple times before.
Friend picking up M3 tomorrow. On the portal, they want proof of insurance uploaded.
Is this the insurance documents from your current car policy (his Seat car)?
Insurance transfer is ready for tomorrow but won't get new disk or documents until next week at earliest.
It’s an American requirement safe to ignore
no-one knows and that INCLUDES Tesla
Insurance proof is mandatory for USA region, you don't need proof your insurance however you can upload old disk into the system.
I have financing through them as well, and collecting on the 21st, too. I was told by a chap in Sandyford that the paperwork would be there for signature when collecting. Personally, I haven't heard from FI at all since being approved for finance about 6 weeks ago.
Very convenient it’s April-June before the grant cut off, conspiracies 😂😂
Sorry, repost by mistake. Apologies for that.
@mun1 They finally located my payment today and were going to allocate it to my account and also requested registration, so should be all good for delivery next Tuesday now. What a relief!!
This could just be a sales tactic. I know I put an order in when I though it would be a Feb-Mar delivery. I cancelled a Q4 with an October date, but some people are getting September dates now. Listing April-June on the website is very similar to Feb-Mar from before.
I never bought a new car so no experience whatsoever. For anyone that is familiar with the process – is this just Tesla making balls of the registration, grants, deliveries, and everything else involved (setting aside the Covid impact and 18 months waiting for MGs) or are they all the same? Maybe being naive, but I always thought it would be a fairly organized process as you always know what's required. So, when you have all prepared it should be smooth sailing? Apologies if a very basic question, but looking at the last 50 posts, this seems like all over the shop (also ignoring the constant changes to ETAs).
Thats something new because when I was in contact with Finance Ireland they told me that they will send me paperwork before collection happened, just to do “e-sign”
Still waiting for a reg plate. This is really bollocks. I know I am collecting on the 21st, but can't understand how they are not able to provide the registration form of the car at least a week in advance. I read that in the UK they get it weeks in advance! It baffles me.
I'm collecting on 20th and still no Reg either.
M3 appeared in Inventory - Demo model - silly price
A white demo M3 LR just came up on the inventory at 52,552 in case anyone is interested.
From talking to them the last time I think a lot of it is down to the SEAI processes and needing clearance before registering a car in a buyers name also coupled with the fact that they are trying to process a large number of vehicles in a short space of time, but I do agree that it should be more straightforward and transparent, but is any other vendor much different? How long do they typically have your car in country before you actually get it, and with the grant this is an EV only issue
This one’s been there for weeks. Not moving ‘cause of the price, it comes with FSD hence why
My bad - meant to post the white one !
What on earth is going on with Tesla's computer systems. My amount due has shot up for 44K to over 52K!
The "discount" just appears to be the 5k grant plus a couple hundred extra...not a chance for a demo...someone will snap it up though...
I wonder where they have the M3 LR demos hiding before they advertise them...any time I ask for a test drive in a LR they say they only have a standard one.
It also only has 2/4 year warranty left
Doesn’t qualify for the grant though, because it’s not a new car
I mean it's the equivalent of the grant. It initially appears that it's a nice discount of over 5k but you'd save almost as much on a new order and have a "fresh" car...
They'd want to knock a good 8k off list price for it to be even remotely attractive in my opinion.
