Actually kinda funny if you read some of their posts in a Borat accent😁. Their English prose is as bad as their "army"....
A nice gesture, but without the means to do anything about them, seems slightly pointless. Doesn't do much more than a Mk 1 eyeball: Look, a missile just flew past...
Switzerland could donate those Rapier AA missile systems they are about to destroy in a classic dog in the manger gesture, but it's Schitzerland.
A quick thanks to the mods for keeping the thread clear of trolls today, a busy morning.
I reckon they they were let have so many staff because their communications have been compromised and they are being monitored 24/7 by multiple agencies, including friendly foreign nations such as the US, UK.
Unarmed.
He's updated his post.
Yeah, could well be fake. Might provide incentive for the US to declassify their footage of the incident, which they mentioned they were considering.
They US said yesterday that they would release the footage ,the one posted doesn't show any insignias or other viable marking you'd expect to see
I don't think it's anything centrally orchestrated (what a waste of time that would be) but judging by the language and specifically the syntax used in some of the posts I reckon some of them do come from native russian speakers. I just assume they're bored patriots who actually do live here now. Maybe working in some desk job and doing a bit of trolling in their spare time to counter the perceived "Russophobia" going on in this thread (ie not acknowledging that the Kremlin line is a balanced alternative view of the facts).
There could even be a bunch of like-minded individuals in a Telegram group discussing things and deciding to spam the thread at a certain time (like earlier on).
No doubt a whole other bunch are local cranks and malcontents.
Think it will be part of Aegis ashore,and Romania allready have it covered.
With friends like these...
Even their own weapons don't like them
Mostly gobshites, acting the maggot. Just the messers at the back of the class.
here’s one to trigger Orwell Rd!
The military intelligence of Ukraine started using the "people's satellite" on September 24, 2022. Since then, the Security and Defense Forces of the state have been receiving the necessary intelligence from space.
During the 5 months of use of "ICEYE", employees of the GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine conducted space radar reconnaissance of almost 1,000 areas of the location of units of the aggressor state in temporarily occupied and other territories that were of interest to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
During this time, the resource of the spacecraft allowed to detect 360 tents in the locations of the Russian occupation army, as well as 7,321 objects of enemy military and special equipment, in particular:
📌 45 aircraft;
📌27 helicopters;
6 OTRK "Iskander";
36 "S300" air defense systems;
📌 12 air defense systems "Pantsyr S1";
📌11 radar stations;
📌10 pontoon crossings.
Thanks to the capabilities of "ICEYE", a large part of this list has been destroyed and reflected in the daily reports of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
ICEYE is a commercial satellite and Ukrainians donated funds allowing the satellite to be essentially purchased. Ukrainian armed forces said the $15M it cost was repaid in 2 days worth of data.
The downing of the drone is Russian again testing the West, and again the West failed
The West '' Russia hit drone, poured fuel all over it, forcing it down''
Russia '' nothing to do with us''
The West '' aw okay''
there's the end of the serial on the underside vertical stabiliser
"Hi, this is the HIMARS hotline, press 1 for target confirmation or 2 to speak directly with a US operator"
There should be several US Airforce insignias and text on both sides of the fuselage too
Even worse it seems the Russians may have actually recovered the downed drone too
The incredible story of the rescue of a soldier of the Armed Forces
During the military operation near Bakhmut, a volunteer from New Zealand found a captured Ukrainian soldier Oleksiy Hordeev in the basement
Oleksiy was found to have bullet and shrapnel holes in his thigh and back.
While the fighting was going on above, the wounded Oleksii lay in the basement for 42 days , next to his comrades who were killed and dying of wounds.
There was nothing to eat, we had to eat crumbs. Because of this, the warrior lost weight from 80 to 42 kg. I drank water from puddles, and when the water ran out, I had to use poisonous antifreeze from the heater.
At the moment, Oleksiy was operated on in a hospital in Dnipro. They are also being treated for poisoning and dystrophy, and will soon be transferred to the capital's clinic.
Amazing update on the story.
So those US measures to prevent that didn't work?
The US said it is taking measures to ensure the drone that was downed by a Russian fighter jet over the Black Sea on Tuesday won’t fall into the wrong hands, but admitted it may never be recovered.
I know that when fuel or and foreign body's get into the air intakes of any conventional engine, it stop's it dead. Were the Russians trying to make it look like a simple engine malfunction when they dumped the fuel on it? and when that failed, they hit the propellers with the wingtip? For sure, that jet is damaged too. Nope, I think that there will be payback for this, but in a form and at a time of the US choosing, but the Russians will be left in no doubt that it's a payback.
Wont help them much,nothing there of any value
Self destruct mechanism will erase all data and destroy any electronic components.
Lessons learned from Iran
One claim was they flew below it and pulled up sharply causing the vertical tail structure of SU to clip the prop ,
Seems a little convoluted,it's trying to downplay it as an accident rather than deliberate ,
But at the same time the Russians had two tugs and a maritime crane vessel in the area before the drone was taken down, which suggests this was a well planned operation
Since I'm actually in the US military, I might have been paying a bit more attention to the realities on the ground in the non-dramatic period of the 2010s than many on here. Whatever else he tried and his on-screen antics, the following actually happened: The US military started looking at Russia and setting conditions for a fight should Russia end up in conflict with NATO. Trump may not have particularly wanted conflict with Russia, but he certainly didn't hurt NATO from being ready for one.
It is crazy that commercial airliners are flying over Moldova while cruise missiles are flying through it. If one downed an airliner and Moldova said they had no long range radar to prevent it, people would be giving out nobody gave them a long range radar 🤷♂️
not necessarily, plenty of examples of blank Reapers.. particularly if operating in AFRICOM and CENTCOM AOR's the last few years
edit: also possibility it wasn't air force either
I believe any flying without any marking belong to the CIA or DoD ,
Open to correction
Christ, another one.
