Finishing my coffee, cannot open my eyes this morning! Apparently I have shingles, so I’m dosed up on painkillers and anti virals, which make me groggy but needs must, they’re dealing with the pain thankfully.
Oh no, I've heard they can be really painful.
Rest up and once you feel better take another day off just to give your body a little more time to recover.

I don’t have much of a rash but have been in serious pain for the last week, so was a good catch by the doctor. Plus the hypochondriac in me is relieved it can be 'cured' with some tablets as of course I was imagining all sorts

It's actually beyond a joke at this stage how much cork floods.
I know I go around in my own little bubble these days but I don't remember cork flooding that much 10 years ago, I had reason at the time to go up and down quite regularly (still have the lilt on certain words but my blood is blue) .
Something needs to be done to tackle it....it's just not good enough.

Unfortunately, the flood defense scheme planned for the city has been held up in legal action by "conservation groups" (read NIMBYs) for ages. It looks as if those legal actions have run their course, but it'll still be a while until construction starts.
Grand I will be there for my steak so :D
