Charging speed helps although I rarely public charge but that one time you need it!
Range is not so much different as the WLPT has you believe so I don’t factor that in.
Not me but it’s gone now.

The LFP battery in the RWD is safer from thermal runaway and also can be charged to 100% every night.
My brother was asking me about tesla and the differences between the MYRWD and MYLR and why would i pay the extra for the LR
for me the following are the main advantages/differences of the MYLR to the MYRWD
range 555km vs 455km
twin motor AWD vs single motor RWD
power: 324kw vs 220kw
0-100 5.0 sec vs 6.9 sec
Max charging speed 250kw vs 170kw
battery warranty 192,000km or 8 years vs 160,000 or 8 years
Front fog lights vs no fog lights.
MYRWD looks as if its slightly more efficient than LR

Anyone on here snap up the black/black MYP that dropped to €65,960 during the night?

yes all go for monday 20th, all paid up. My discount was actually only 5.5% (€3.5k) but this brought it under the grant limit so ended up with €8.5k off.
Price Only ended up €800 less than the standard MYLR, white, Gemini wheels that i had due to come in april (which year was debateable) (but with induction wheels thrown in for free)
the MYP went from €79k down to €64k, which was always a ridiculous discount
Have you tried advertising the M3P or offering it to a dealer? Priced well it should move quickly & still be above Tesla trade in offer
Is your collection date still set in the app?
A FB poster picked up a MYP during the same “price discrepancy” period for €64k in red. His order was cancelled by tesla due to discount error.
I think the white interior is the common factor, see spreadsheet higher on this page .. DIYJoe is the same
Strange. That’s my theory that it was an admin error and my order was simply missed at the weekend debunked…
Surely would have heard by now if they were in Ireland / Part of a smaller consignment on one of the later boats from Shanghai that passed through the Suez over the last week or two.
Collection on Thursday but trade in offer expired on Monday. Asked me to upload new pics today and effectively start from scratch having initially asked for an odometer reading. Didn’t get a great offer first time but had accepted. If they (or whoever prices the cars) price chip I will leave it so. Trading in M3P. Supposed to be collecting Y LR black / black / Gemini.
Interesting .. I have the exact same spec also sitting at Feb-Mar, I ordered on the 19th Jan.
I got a text today confirming collection on Friday with details on location etc.

Zero expectation we will receive a car this month but find it strange the date hasn’t been kicked out to later like everyone else.
Same as me, except I ordered white interior too. Let’s hope it was a glitch for all of us
Yea I did mention that to them and lodged a complaint about it. I'm sure it'll fall on deaf ears though.

If it was an error you'd think they'd send the affected customers a quick email to inform and prevent all the stress
Did you order a MY or M3?
I rang and was told that is was a mistake also. They said they are still aiming for a Q2 delivery but couldn't give any specific dates...
Having said that, I was told the opposite yesterday! The lack of consistency in responses is very frustrating...
So I emailed the rep I was dealing with in Tesla about the Jul-Sept push out and got this reply…
Looks like white MY LR have a much better chance of Apr-May than black
They made black free and then didnt make enough! 🙄

Got my reg this afternoon for collection on Thursday. Already transferred insurance online, was done in 5 minutes and no cost. Just have to hope the car is actually ready for pickup Thursday as I've only had one conversation with a person through the whole thing and that was when they informed me due to logistical reasons I couldn't pick up on the 25th and moved me up to 16th.
Seems a bit last minute and anxiety inducing if you let it be but the process seems to work
Still no sign of a reg, are first collections starting tomorrow?
Added a little pivot table and cleaned up the values in models and colours :)

Everyone with a M3 push out till July- September so I’d say it’s safe to say we definitely will not be getting one before hand.
Tip for those who get the registration and have the VIN. You use the last 6 digits of the VIN as your PIN on the motortax website to tax the car.
I bought a non tesla, got registration on a Thursday, paid it online, disc arrived Friday, collected car Saturday. Didn't put off collection because of Tax just happened to fall that way. Insuring it was challenging also because the national vehicle database wasn't updated so their automated systems couldn't validate the registration so I manually added the car on AIG with the registration number.
Also still waiting for the reg, hopefully get it before the end of the week.
