He certainly can’t teach in America. His teaching qualifications wouldn’t be worth a thing in the states he would not be considered qualified afaik

2 Martina Burkes in Post Primary, 1 with no school details.
She might need a new pair as she's heading back to court about her own "employment issues"
The High Court will hear solicitor Ammi Burke’s challenge to the termination of her unfair dismissal claim against Arthur Cox in May.
Ms Burke took a case to the Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) after being dismissed from her job as a junior associate at the banking and finance division of the leading law firm in November 2019.
However, the WRC case was terminated last April following a stormy hearing due to what an adjudication officer described as "sustained and deliberate obstruction and disruptions" by the solicitor's mother, Martina Burke.
Based on recent family visits to Court , they have learned nothing since the last case , so I wonder if these latest proceedings will end in shouting and people having to be removed from the court-room?
Simeon is refusing again to sign bail conditions. Shouting has started from the Burke Fam…. I’m thinking about putting on some popcorn but I have a school run to do. 😂
i get the whole righteous agenda etc but surely when you get to the stage where your family is in and of different courts for different reasons at some stage you have to think that like in the Mitchell and Webb sketch ‘are we the baddies’. Nobody’s life should be so complicated that who’s dropping who to the protest and who’s doing the court run today is a conversation. How can so many people in one family have so much free time mid week that they can attend various humiliations and still have any hopes of ever actually working for a living.

silly, silly boy! Another two weeks to wait.
Just imagine the screeching from Mammy if he hadn't refused bail? To a certain extent they're her pawns, being sent out to battle. She isn't the one who has to endure prison or standing outside a school in winter.
The mind boggles. I just don’t get it! He’s missing his exams when there is simply no need! Argue your case at a hearing dummy!! My ex is exactly the same. Would cut off his nose to spite his face! Loves playing the victim but hasn’t realised that nobody gives a **** and he’s wasting his life for nothing.
How can someone be in training to be a Barrister and yet have so little understanding or respect for the Courts and the Law??
Why train to be a barrister if you aren't going to use that knowledge in your own defence??
All that education and training blown to smithereens by an extremist take on Faith and Religion.
It's just baffling.
Daddy Burke must be terrified of anymore of them getting locked up, the amount of driving he’ll have to be doing.
I’d love to hear the Pep talk in the car before they’re about to hit the courts, must be premeditated that they’re going to start screaming and shouting and hindering the court.
The Burke children are just puppets on strings at this stage.
It should be a crime to routinely disrupt court proceedings.
Any more of them and Mammy Burke will have to take up the slack. I don’t know if she even drives? Do any of them drive apart from daddy? Maybe Ammi could put forward a motion for them all to be in the same prison and court? Even better if they could clear the court schedule for a day for just the Burkes?
I’d say if they wanted Martina could just shout from castlebar towards the general direction of the Four Courts & they’d be heard no prob
Does anyone else think this could be the makings of a brilliant sit-com, whereby they're a family who practice law and they go before the court for a ridiculous reason every week, go mental and make such a mess of their case that they lose every time? "The Works of The Burkes" maybe, with Mammy as a Bishop Len Brennan type character?
They have become a circus at this stage, they may as well make the most of it and earn a few bob to pay the cost of Enoch's rising fine.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
And some of the pure drivel he is coming out with. Pure "Burkery".
Eh sunshine, just like your big bro Enoch, it is completely within your own power to walk out of there and do your exams. Sign the bail bond.
Though I guess not doing his exams is a convenient way for him to explain away the slight problem he was having of finding a Master.
These people are crazy.
He must have some loading on his insurance for the mileage he does. 5 round trips to Wilson’s from Castlebar alone is 1500km a week.
Has anyone raised concerns about the welfare of The Box? Its absence today was quite troubling to me.
to be fair it’s irrelevant if he’s a barrister or not the Gardai are obligated to explain in clear language the reason you’re being arrested.
I highly doubt they didn’t explain to him why he was being arrested of course it’s just deflecting.
They could just call it nipper until it grows up and decides what it wants to be …🤔
Not every reason the Burke's have gone to court for has been ridiculous. For instance Elijah Burke's case versus the Dept. of Education in January 2022 was anything but ridiculous. It was quite an important case for those who are homeschooled. The Dept. of Education were excluding homeschooled children from the predicted grade system during COVID which had the potential to make homeschooled people graduating secondary school that year wait another year to get into college. The courts found that the Dept. of Education were acting unconstitutionally.
It's the utterly unshakable belief they have that they are always absolutely correct that's astounding.
Agreeing to bail conditions or adhering to the terms of a Court order are not an admission of guilt - They have 2 Lawyers in the family and they can't seem to grasp that basic concept.
All of their interactions with the courts are based on the premise that they are 100% correct and to even engage in the process of the law would somehow be an admission that they might be wrong.
And for some reason in that case they employed the Services of an independent legal team who behaved as you would expect professionals to and they got the result they wanted.
Almost makes you think that they know that they have no legal basis for all this and instead have decided to deliberately turn it into this never-ending charade.
So there’s one..
have you any others? Cos the ratio is not looking much more favourable with the inclusion of that case.
Court shoes might be more practical 😉
Yep. I've another.
Isaac Burke won an action against NUIG regarding a delay in the scheduling of the viva exam as part of his PhD. He was awarded €13,035 because NUIG screwed up and delayed him getting his PhD.
If I was Burke, and I acted the maggot at a school function and got suspended, I'd stay away from the school while suspended, I'd engage in the disciplinary process and more than likely I'd still have my job now.
Doesn't matter that they had an independent legal team. The case ruling showed that, in that instance, they were right to go to court. It wasn't a ridiculous case to take.
But yeah, I do take your point that the independent team would probably certainly act more professionally when compared to how the Burke's have acted in court recently.
The gobshytes would win an awful lot more in court if they behaved with some manners. Enoch would still be a teacher in Wilson's if he didn't break the injunction because he would have been granted his own injunction against the disciplinary proceedings if only he had agreed to comply with the Wilson's Hospital School injunction to stay away while suspended.
I think it was an article in the Examiner a while back that described the Burkes as "a family that can't seem to get out of their own way" which is very apt given all that is going on.
A bit of basic common sense and a willingness to actually engage with the process of the law and neither of the Burke boys spend a second behind bars nor would they have completely destroyed any hopes for a career in their chosen professions.
I think there was another one to do with a phd being delayed? I’m not 100% which one it was or the details? I think it had merit though and they won? They had legal representation for that too.
I suppose court is the equivalent of a family out for socially isolated evangelists, a chance to dress up and see the outside world.
Yep, they do seem to self-sabotage themselves for sure.
I can't disagree with what you've posted.
