Not going to watch the video you posted a link to as I think you have consistently made posts to this thread from a pro muskovy point of view. I've no doubt that muskovy forces are still killing Ukrainians but the losses they are taking are huge. Its not just the human cost but they are chewing up their offensive equipment to the point that they are now bringing in armoured vehicles that first came into use in the 1950's while supplies of newer western equipment are starting to arrive to help the Ukrainians to liberate their country from the invaders.
Interesting.
A number of Ukrainian tank crews have concluded their training on German-made Leopard 2A4 main battle tanks in Spain, Reuters reported on March 13.
According to the report, a total of 40 tank crew members and 15 mechanical specialists have mastered operating and maintaining Leopard-2s, having spent four weeks at a military base in Zaragoza.
Training of Ukrainians who arrived in Germany to undergo operational training on the Leopard 2 battle tank is nearing completion, - Handelsblatt
Progress; the offensive can't come soon enough to stop what''s happening in Bakhmut, where the Ukrainians are paying in gold, to clean up sh1t.
Look at the absolute state of this clown show.
I am not sure which one looks more fcuked.
There certainly are disagreements between Kyiv and Washington.
On the need to break the Red Army in to pieces and kill lots of reds, not much disagreement.
Nonsense.
The orcs have been attacking Bakhmut with human wave meat attacks on a daily basis for 7 months. They have barely gained a few kms of ground in all that time, so much so they have run out of convicts to attack with.
I think we can safely safe one side is suffering far greater attrition, and it's not the boys in yellow and blue.
The orcs are pulling actual museum pieces out of storage for this war.
Amazing orc propagandists here will maintain they are winning.
The orc line has barely moved in weeks now. If anything it's been pushed back in the south.
Didn't these crazy attacks on Bakhmut start in November just after mobilisation took effect and just after the last big Ukrainian counter? So more like 5 month's but it must be demoralising to the Russian army if these are the results.
What week did the mud dry up last year? Was it the end of April?
Seems the road isn't as safe as someone was claiming.
Looking at that video it’s easy to understand how one would choose fighting to the death than living in a world where you have to kow tow and toe the line to the likes of those two **** eating Neanderthals.
Safe enough to drive 😄
Unfortunately, I'd guess from the last paragraph that it's probably at least 50% higher and so over 30,000. No way UNHCR is going to know what happened in the filtration camps and to those shipped to Orcistan where anything could happen and be covered up.
https://ukranews.com/en/news/920534-cabinet-instructs-to-establish-production-of-120-mm-mortar-mines-and-155-mm-caliber-ammunition
The Ukraine government is going to establish manufacturing capability for a far wider range of ammunition than at present.
82 mm caliber mortar shot;
120 mm caliber mortar shot;
122 mm artillery shot to the D-30 howitzer (2C1);
tank shot to a 125 mm gun;
152 mm artillery shot to the D-20 howitzer (2C3);
155 mm caliber artillery shot;
products of dynamic protection;
ammunition for drones.
Establishing that capability might take a while.
Did my first flight training in the 1980s and it was all ft agl and nm. I did some training recently and expected everything to be in metres, but oh no...
Could be looking at late April or mid may for things to dry up ,
While in some areas it looks drier we are seeing trenches and roads either full of water ,or in the case of roads unpassable unless in large 4x4s
Joining NATO would solve a lot of the headache regarding your point.
Being in NATO will prevent thousands of deaths ... Baltic states would have been attacked by that mass murderer a long time ago .... their NATO membership prevented him from even looking at a possible invasion, But yeah, a well equipped modern army doesn't hurt either
can someone explain to me why they bother with this war crimes stuff and issuing warrants and international criminal courts? like as if the russians are ever going to take heed or give a sh*t? just seems like a total waste of time and effort to me.
Russia suffering from roughly 500000 casualties in a year .... mind boggling numbers.
right. strange take.
The idea is that when someone possibly sees sense, they will hand over those people to the relevant authorities... Ghadaffi, Milosevic, and Taylor are all examples of people who had charges set against them, who thought they would never see anything done to them...
If done now, it also gives some protection against subsequent political elements "forgetting" things ever happened.
It will also be a bargaining chip when an eventual regime change happens in Russia, and depending on how stringent western governments hold their sanctions, it could be used as a bargaining chip to reduce sanctions.
I do agree there is an element of what you describe but, raising a criminal case now puts in the lawful and bureaucratic framework needed for any future negotiations.
I think it's important to document the war crimes etc, collect evidence, then prosecute so that a state will always be held accountable, there will be a time that sanctions might be lifted.... But there still will be the matter of war crimes that need to be dealt with first.
Makes for very sober reading.
120k Ukrainian casualties, critical shortages of ammunition and equipment, raw conscripts being sent to the front-line.
The first trials in Nuremberg were done, partially, to put the information in the historical record in order to prevent their repetition and to document what happened to future generations. Same should apply here.
Pretty much spot on ,
They will get moral victory if anything, but no one will see the inside of the Hague let alone a cell ,
It's only an opinion piece ,

I want Ukraine to win, but don't let that get in the way of your strawman argument.
