No they don't, you are confusing Auto Pilot with Auto Steer, Tesla may use the term Auto Pilot but the cars 100% do not have it no matter what optional extra you pay
Is insurance for Tesla any more/less expensive than combustion engine cars?
Should be less for an equivalent performing car. But insurance is very personal. It’s completely dependent on your circumstances and what’s good for me may be bad for you.
Spoke to a friend of mine in insurance, apparently given Tesla are relatively new in manufacturing respect, the are lazily rated at the highest of the scale - not sure how true or not this is, but it would appear to be from some queries etc.

I am referring to what Tesla call Autopilot. If Tesla call it Autopilot then it is what it is. Full self driving is NOT Autopilot which is what you seem to be confusing.
Every Tesla sold comes with Tesla Autopilot as standard.
When I changed my Honda Civic (182hp) to an ID.3 (204hp) my Insurance went down from about €450 to €340. Last year when I changed to a Tesla Model 3 RWD my insurance went down a further €20. All approx figures, my memory isn't that great and I am not going back through my files😊. My wife is similar, moving from ice to her second EV.
But insurance varies from person to person, we are with Aviva and have multiple policies with them over many years. And we are probably about ideal age, not too old or too young. I never do car insurance on line, always prefer someone to give out to on phone.😉

AutoPilot is just Tesla's name for ACC.

Collecting on Thursday and no reg as yet. Will give it tomorrow am and will try to ring in afternoon if nothing received. Last time I got it 2 days before hand.
Keep your eye on it being registered on your account. After transferring two payments of €1,000, while waiting for limits to lift on my online bank, I transferred the balance 2 weeks ago and it is still not showing up on my account. And not getting an awful lot of help from Tesla, even after sending them proof of payment from my bank, BOI.
The first two payments of €1,000 registered on the account in 24 hours, and getting a bit stressed now as I have a delivery on the 21st of March.
Assume you assigned the payment to the correct RN number by including it on the payment note to Tesla bank account , other wise they don’t know where the money came from

You're realistically looking at Q3 this year, unless you grab a cancellation from inventory for delivery this month
Was in for test drive on Saturday and girl told me that change in EDD for existing orders was due to "software update" and that this would revert back but wasn't sure when. Called Tesla today and bloke pretty much reiterated what she said and stated that if April/May was not achievable then it would not be showing for new orders. Make of that what you will...
Plenty of orders had Feb - Mar dates that went out to June - Aug or July - Sept.
Hopefully they come back in again!

Yes, I did. I used the same payee setup as in my first two payments which showed in my account within 24 hours, so very strange altogether.
I made a payment on saturday and it showed up in my account first thing today . I made final payment today and it showed up in my account this evening .
nightmare to be chasing this . You could check with your bank and get them to confirm by email the account money went into , then send to tesla as confirmation .
Just double checked was definitely Allianz, they offered it to me when I rang to get a price on the change from my previous car so must depend on the phone agent but they can definitely temp insure you
Yes,I was onto the bank last week and they sent me the proof of payment showing destination account details (Tesla's) with the unique payment identifier, so one should assume it is easy enough for them to find it. Just so odd that the first two payments were sent with the exact same details.
Just don't hope it drags out now, delaying delivery as I am selling the old car on Saturday, and can only borrow the mother-in-law's one for a few days before she needs it back.

I need to change my collection date from 21st to 24 rang telsa earlier they ring me back but miss it what like hood they would change for me need more time to pay for it off.
IIRC it says somewhere on the paperwork that you can collect up to five days after your allocated date.
