Interestingly if you order a M3 right now it still says Apr/May 2023 so WTAF
Updated offer today and about €3k lower than it was in January lol. No hidden vin etc so I don’t think it really meant anything in the end.
Also got my M3LR pushed back to 17 July - 30 Sep. Will most likely cancel now and move onto a second hand ICE.
Current car is giving me trouble, so need to move on.

It is disappointing but why not keep your 250 euro in. You can always cancel in July when you know more.
Were you asked to provide insurance details and proof of ownership? My oh received the same text as you yesterday and got the valuation by email this morning asking for these details.

No, delivery has also been pushed out to Jul / Sept but he has accepted the trade in so lets see what happens. The whole ordering system is a pure mess.
With other brands you still need to wait minimum 1 year for a car, don’t be disappointed guys with half year waiting time.
Not always to be fair. I ordered my Hyundai in Mid November and collect it tomorrow, 7 weeks earlier than their predicted window. Next ship(not Korea) due to arrive in the 15th March with next batch on Czech made cars(we believe). However I will say that you cannot even place a Tucson PHEV order and I'm unsure if you can order an Ioniq 5 but you certainly wont get one till 2024. As for others I had to give up ordering a Tiguan, couldn't even order a Taracco and then Cupra screwed me on a Formentor deal(not the dealer).
I'd have loved the MY but the trade in price was outrageously low and I didn't want to sell privately.
Does anyone know exactly how many cars were on the first boat are we looking at a couple of hundred or a thousand plus. What’s to say we won’t be let down in July-September again if we do hold on and wait.
Received a call from Tesla that the updated date July - September “is just an estimation, and we don’t actually know for certain, and will find out more the end of March”. Not particularly helpful, why push it to July/September is they don’t know.
Guys, if you're turning from an M3/MY to an ICE because of a few months delay you've got to ask yourself, are you in this to genuinely live the EV life or are you just jumping on the bandwagon because it seems the MY is the new iPhone XX whatever.
For those ambivalent about EVs and don't really care what they drive as long as it's new & shiny, you are completely covered by Volkswagen.
For me - I really want one, but I have a company car that has to go back in a couple of months as the company was bought out, so I won't have a car in a few months and I'm in the middle of the country where there is no public transport (nearest shop is 5K)
Maybe there is some sort of short-term lease I can get in the meantime or long term rental - I have to look into it

Not there now, somebody was fast or they removed it, all new LR MY in Inventory are way above grant threshold. They’ll be hard to shift.
