The flowerpots would indicate that gate not used.
The lane outside looks way too narrow to get a car in, nevermind trying to turn into the blue gate.
If you could fit a car in the lane and enough space to get out of the car, you'd just leave it there, wouldn't bother trying to park behind the blue gate.
I seen the flower pots alright and that it wasn't used now but if someone moved in who had a car could park there. Also there are two blue gates going into the garden for some strange reason. One small single door at the entrance to the 2a house and then another double blue door going out onto the main road.
Yes, it's a semi detached house with one driveway off Marrobone lane although the address is Loreto road.
The annex has it's own driveway through the double doors further up Marrobone lane.
Anyone in the market for some large animal cages and an elephant bar? It will definitely be demolished and turned into apartments, which I actually think would be a shame

I'm exhausted just looking at it. And...2 bedrooms for 3m?
I can just imagine the "glow" that red jacuzzi and black tiles would give under a uv light!!!
It will definitely be demolished and turned into apartments
You would never get planning for apartments there see all the low rise buildings around the area. Well unless they built low rise apartment buildings.
See the sun bed what the hell would you want a sun bed in a desert location. Sun is shinning nearly every day of the year.
2 in the main house. another 6 or 7 in the guest houses.
It's Siegfried and Roy's house, I guess the desert sun just didn't give the level of bronze required lol
I actually like the Las Vegas house. Shocking decoration for sure. Amazing amount of wasted space but it's like a museum. Be a shame for it to be pulled down.
That's what I think. It's like the Vegas version of Neverland and should be preserved 😄
Does Los Vegas do sentiment?
That house would be odd if it was anywhere other than Vegas, but it looks like it's in its natural habitat.
It would be a great house for a party.
Bono might buy it, he's out there later this year, suit him down to the ground.
in what world is this worth 1m quid
On the one hand, it's a big, bright, modern 3-bed 3-bath home in a good location (if you like suburbia), with parking and close to good transport/road links - plenty houses half the size and with work to be done are getting that and more nearer town.
On the other hand, that's one mad-ugly building, it's an apartment and I wouldn't trust an apartment built in the last 25 years as far as I could throw it, the management fees are fairly eye-watering, and it's a C2 BER.
So on balance, no thanks!
its only 150 sq/m, are there houses of 75 sq/m getting over 900k?
When the government gets round to building more social housing and the market gets sorted from the bottom up there are going to be lots of people with overvalued/negative equity properties. I seem to recall we have been here before.
Its not but its very close to Foxrock.
So whoever buys it can sit outside Kerb drinking coffee every Saturday and pretend they live on Brighton Road
Well I didn't mean "half the size" literally, but yes there are plenty smaller doer-uppers near the city going for stupid money.
And 150 sq/m is a fairly sizeable 3-bed home in my book, I wouldn't call it "only".
Here's one that recently featured on this thread of 28sq/m for €350K! Scale that up and you're at an asking of €1.75m.
The description of the Carrickmines apartment says it's a three bedroom apartment but there's only two bedrooms in the plans.
Edit. My bad. I just see that the third bedroom is the office. Eek. Not a great layout for a bedroom.
The office is the 3rd bedroom I guess
I'm sure the office is in what would be the 3rd bedroom.
Yeah, I copped it after I made the post. I'm getting hangry so the concentration levels aren't what they should be. 😁
pretty sure the photos weren’t taken today anyway …

That's a nice house in fairness.
Kip!!!!
One of the curtain poles looks like it falling off, the lawn is in bits and there
is a hole in one of carpets where an office chair has worn through. I'd never buy
some place like that............................... :-)
Are the blinds falling down in photos 10 and 11? Or is that the wide angle lense working overtime
The roof goes up at an angle i think. the blinds are level with the window they cover. Pic 10 makes it look worse than it is. Pic 11 is probably more representative.
It is indeed fantastically ugly. Which would you rather?
Ignoring for the moment, the drawers with twee french labels...
