You mean the magic missiles, making a 180 degree turn at the end?
Stop and think for a minute why Russia is under investigation for 40k+ war crimes, uses convicts in human wave attacks and have taken 140k locals in Donbass regions in forced mobilizations to the frontline as canonfodder.
Does this sound like a leadership that cares if a nuclear powerplant have a meltdown?
Because Putler doesn't give a rats, and could care less about Donetsk and Luhansk? Only Crimea has some strategic value.
As being caught red handed, I'm sure you, or your other account that just joined to spam, can share the link? As I recall, the shelling of the nuclear site was done by.... wait for it... RuZZia. They were of course invading the place. You do know RuZZia invaded, right?
You might want to inform your handlers that we recognize you bots for what you are. Might as well just create your new accounts as 'OrwellRoadLackey##', save all of us including yourselves the time.
"imagine the propaganda if a kinzhal missile was shot down."
Kinzhal missile successfully intercepted a missile launched from a patriot AD system - Putin
Not sure if the SAMP/T and Patriot systems have arrived in Ukraine yet,and when they do,they will be placed around the most critical infrastructure for sure.
And i think Russians knows this too, imagine the propaganda if a kinzhal missile was shot down.
Not good for business
Decent article giving a summary of the situation.
Edit: already just posted.
Never been, no. I try to avoid supporting terrorist regimes with my recreational travel.
If elections are rigged and protests are ignored (or quashed), there's an obvious next step: full scale rebellion. Given that the demographics of the Russians fleeing to live in our more civilised Western world skew towards the college educated young, it shouldn't be that hard to help out such a rebellion with a million or more men of fighting age by sending them home (preferably armed and trained).
Any Russian who considers himself a patriot should be dying in the streets of Moscow fighting the criminals in charge of his own country instead of pillaging, raping and murdering his way across Ukraine.
I seem to remember a lot of Russian lies and excuses being trotted out about this kind of thing once upon a time.
Russia blatantly attacks the power grid Zaporizhzhia NPP is connected to.
“The last power line between the occupied Zaporizhzhia NPP and the Ukrainian power system was cut off as a result of rocket attacks,” operator Energoatom confirmed.
Zero.
I've said it on thread already, I believe we should be returning any Russians that are already here. The "not political" cohort can suffer the consequences of their apathy towards their country's criminality (and worsen it's economic situation when they arrive in need of housing, welfare etc.) and, given our own history of rebellion and the expertise in counter-terrorism within our defence forces, I'd imagine our defence forces could put together some pretty good training in insurgency for those who genuinely oppose Putin.
None of the Russian missles are unstoppable, but most of the air defenses the Ukrainans are given aren't geared towards Ballistic missiles which are the ones getting through,
Anyone notice the interesting parallels between the Russian military tactics of throwing civilian soldiers into the frontlines. And the Russian bots here who try and flood the thread with nonsense in waves.
The Kh-47M2 Kinzhal is the hypersonic one. It's not on the list as being shot down. The newest SAMP-T air defence system supplied by Italy is said to be able to intercept ballistic missiles so it should be able to intercept the Kinzhal. Ukraine may or may not have it by now. They don't announce these systems arrival, typically.
"I guess that makes me Russian too"
Orwell road.
Knew it.
Nothing in that provides any evidence it's actually happening at all,
We would have seen them by now and just in Ukraine
...
To be fair, it has been widely reported in the last few months. After the US withdrawal, thousands of Afghan commandos fled the country to Iran and elsewhere to escape retribution from the Taliban. It's alleged that some of these have been recruited by Wagner. There are several sources (many of them Ukranian). This is possibly the best one:
I think that's about change Danzy. Now the civilized world knows about the murderous thug in its midst, and thing's cannot go back the "way they were before". They are wide awake now compared to previously.
Remember lavrov tried to explain away Russians hitting civilian population center in Syria, by saying the world knows our weapons aren't as advanced as the Wests therefore we can't be blamed if our weapons hit civilians ,we don't intend to bomb civilians but it's not our fault when we do
You have proof to back up these statements Loyyie? You might ( or not) remember that its not so long ago that the very same Afghans kicked the Russians out of Afghanistan, and trust me on this, they have long and hard memories of Russian occupation. Russians are not welcome back in any Country's the were involved in, and looking at what they are trying to do in Ukraine, its easy to see why. If the US announced that they were returning to Afghanistan in the morning, thousands and thousands of Afghans would be on the streets not protest, but to welcome them back.
One of his most recent ones .
They'll go to Europe. Internal security, long term planning are long out of fashion.
There will be no questions asked.
Judging by the hits on civilian targets, they are not using precision guided weapons, instead they are using "dumb" bombs and missiles. Maybe because they are running out of precision guided weapons?
I'd agree with Furze99. What I don't understand is why one would be labelled anti free market? russian is a nationality, not a race, so don't get the racist thing either.
I doubt very much if either China or India will allow Russian refugees into their Countrys....and who could blame them? They take their internal security very seriously.
If it's like some other interviews he's conducted recently, it should entertaining to watch. He certainly doesn't give them an easy interview.
Need a proper interviewer to rip his stance on Russia to pieces.
Hopefully Stewart doesn't sugar-coat the interview.
Patriot system havent arrived yet as far as i know,so that leaves Iris T,Nasams and Gepard and a few others thats not ment for ballistic missiles
They can fly Soviet one's straight away and need to replace those they've lost. Western one's will take at least 6 months. Plus western missiles can be fired from Soviet planes now which is an upgrade.
The Russians have been on the verge of winning Bakhmut for weeks now. At a certain point you have to accept it isn't going to plan for the Russians.
The story about the reservists fighting with shovels wasn't the entire army but is highlighting ammunition issues. It doesn't mean no one has ammo or that the Russian artillery has nothing either. Ukraine is going is going toe to toe with what was supposed to be a military superpower so it seems like they are doing pretty damn good. Yes they have NATO equipment but Russia was meant to have a massive superiority in terms of wartime experience amongst its leaders and in sheer man power as well as equipment that was meant to be able to match up with NATO.
