We can all agree that Russian elections have been nothing but democratic and transparent to date, so blaming the Russian people for voting Putin in makes perfect sense.
Humans also lose their fundamental instinct for self-preservation in the face of danger, we literally jump into traffic for fun. So you're also right blaming every Russian not in Jail - imagine being selfish enough to not want to risk your entire world speaking up, the children can look after themselves.
Its all so simple really. Russian people who don't drop everything and everyone in their life to storm the Kremlin should be placed in the same category as Putin and the lads blowing the face off Ukrainian prisoners on the front line. Round the bastards up.

Posted elsewhere where a poster was wondering about the long run implications of the Chinese in far eastern Russia.
In the long run it looks like the war in Ukraine will open up more opportunity for Chinese who want to work in Eastern Russia. With so many leaving Russia and being killed in war it leaves more opportunity for Chinese nationals to capitalise on the situation.
An increasing population in the likes of Siberia already makes for some interesting demographics for the Chinese population going forward in parts of Russia, with Large numbers of ethnicities males being killed over the last 12 months,there will definitely be opportunities to be had , ever growing populations will need protections and ccp backed agricultural investments will also need to be protected
You obviously do not know much about life in Putin's Russia, do you Sleepy? Never been there I'd say? Putin is the big killer spider at the center of this web. Every election he ran in was rigged in his favor, so forget about voting him out. Protests? Yes Russians tried that too, thousands of them, and they could not remove him either, because he beat them on the streets, arrested and imprisoned them. Many more were visited in the middle of the night and bounced down the stairs and into a waiting unmarked vehicle. When ( and if) their families saw them again, they were changed, and even after the bruises had healed, mentally they were never the same again, ever. Sure many left, the ones that could leave, there are a reputed 17 millions of Russians living outside of Russia, which in itself speaks volumes about Putins Russia, but there were and are millions who cannot leave. Its a terror mafia state, with Don Putin in absolute control, and you and your Families lives depend on his say so. Keep your head down and a low profile, and you might escape military service in Ukraine (for awhile anyway, if you are Lucky) draw attention to your self, and for sure, you will see Ukraine. At one stage, it was mainly the women who protested on the streets, based on the principle that Putin could not mobilize them. And true, he could not do that, but instead, he mobilized their husband's, sons and brothers.
Every expecting F16's and the like to end up in Ukraine but it makes far more sense they get old Soviet planes first.
Meh. That one is in the 'believe it when I see it' category. Ukraine really needs western aircraft with their superior radars and ability to carry precision ground attack munitions.

Polish migs are all retro fitted with Western radar avionics ect .
There is talk that Korean jets will start to be delivered from May.
On another note 116 abrams battle tanks to be delivered from the end of the month.
Poland always stated that they needed replacements for there migs.
Looks like they be getting there replacements sooner than expected from Korea.
The Abrams is part of a 300+ order in two parts along with another tank and artillery order from Korea,
Jet wise the polish are getting a trainer/light attack aircraft which while more modern isn't as capable as the aging Mig29 for payloads
My understanding of of the Korean jet deal was that a small number would dedicated trainers and the rest would be fully combat ready.
But it's still only a fast jet trainer wita allll the ability to carry some weapons,the
Korean themselves have already replaced it with a more substantial multirole aircraft,

YES, we should accept every Russian refugee that arrives here on the airport apron and those that have no I’d papers/passport do not allow them off the plane. The rest, give them good meals for a day or two and a dry bed and tstablish what money they have access to. Then , in the meantime, process an air ticket to whatever friendly country they choose to go to. There , apparently, more Russian Friendly countries out there than there are Russian unfriendly countries.
The Irish gov should start planning now as to what it’s going to do if and when the situation arises. Is there a possibility that. There are Russians already arriving under the guise of being a Ukranian?
The Russian embassy should be watched like a hawk.
