I was offered one a while back with a FC uked engine for €1500. I said no thanks.

Has he that deliberately stanced so the wheels are not straight?
It will drive fine with some negative camber
Pretty harsh on tyres though.
Isn't the X5 hard on tyres already? Probably on shíte tyres like 99% of second hand premium brand cars.
Jesus lol. I was lucky to get 3.5k for one 3 years ago. Pure dog of a thing on petrol and the dash absolutely loves throwing lights.
With the correct alignment these are a ballache on tyres, with that negative camber (4-5 degress?!) along with the toe in on the rearyoud want shares in a tyre depot
Its amazing the amount of 'premium' cars driving around on Linglongs or Triangles. Saw a 2022 Golf R the other day on a set of chinese tyres. Wannabe Badge Merchants who dont understand cars.
They won't be long telling you that a BMW is superior driving machine though...even on Linglongs or Triangles. Pure shitehawks most of 'em. Wouldn't have a clue what to do if the rear stepped out.
The attitude of the seller seems as bad as the grenade he's looking to flog.
‘No pressure for sale’. Eff off. You’re either selling it or you’re not.
Even if it was the right car, right spec I wouldn’t waste my time dealing with someone like that. I wonder how they ever sell anything.
It basically just means that they aren’t in a rush to sell so won’t entertain lowball offers
To me it reads along the lines of ‘testing the water’, ‘I know what it’s worth’, ‘it’s going back in the garage if I don’t get what I want’ etc etc.
People are always going to bid you on a car. Time wasters will always contact you. It’s just the nature of selling cars.
Putting ‘warnings’ like this is ads never serve their purpose. At least they do act as a red flag to me to not bother with that person.
I couldn't agree more. That ad is full of bad attitude imho.
Looks decent enough but that price...
He could have given the golf a decent wash at least
150,000 miles on it too. It would want to be low mileage, full history and to factory spec for that price.
Even with VAT the first result I got on piston heads is a better buy.

7.5k for a 1996 Corolla XLi 1.3 saloon.....🙄
No wonder it cost so much. The car is a time traveling machine. 😊
Look at the mileage too. If I was going to be paying that much for a basic car I would expect it to be a low mileage car.
And what the hell is with your man in the pics surely he could have taking some without that guy there.
Looks like he made a lookalike Garda top out of both a yellow and black t-shirt and duct type.
I love the pic with the wiper arm covered in rust.
wow someone really loves that corolla. So much they have 2.
In fairness bullet proof engines, at least thats my experience of them badly mistreated still ran felt like nothing would kill it.
Yeah but it comes with the log book.....................
Some mad men out there.
This is a nice looking car (at least from the outside). Mileage has disappeared from the advert now... and are those period correct alloy wheels?
As others have said, they were famously reliable, but the 1.3 Xli was the basic model, soo even though, he may have spent a fortune on it, and his pricing probably reflects what it's cost him... its not a particularly desirable package now for that kind of money... Just maybe, for some auld timer who got his 1st shag in the back of one 😁
Mileage has disappeared from the advert now.
Mileage was never up he deliberately left it blank. You can see how high it is on the close up of the NCT disc.
Ah good Jesus 7.5k for an xli Corolla. Gway ta **** with that. Clown world.
223k miles. Awwwh here 🤦♂️
"selling my Freelander as i have downgraded.. " glad he clarified that, I would be uncomfortable driving around in such a posh motor too... what with all the car thieves and joy riders etc.
