He might have. That isn't what it looks like to me. As I said, to me it looks like the fairly normal result of letting go of someone who has been resisting being moved along. Looking at all of the footage it is obvious that she was fighting against them the entire way. It isn't at all surprising that the moment of release wasn't as smooth as it would've been if she hadn't been resisting.
But he is not a man of focus, commitment and will.
He is a man who blindly does what mammy tells him. He is a sheep to her focus, commitment and will.
He definitely has all the attributes of a staunch DUP supporter alright down to the haircut and the way he dresses. Of course being an arch bigot as he is would mean that he'd fit right in with them.
I hope you aren't referring to me. I've said there was a bit of a push, but I never said it was heavy handed nor am I outraged.
Dan Breen would no doubt have been on Enochs side and considered the modern Shinner a bunch of traitors. the Anglo Irish would not be DUP supporters but I wouldnt expect rainbow republicans to grasp the difference.
According to me? How so?! How on earth did you stretch my comment that far?
Only got to look at this now. The mother looks like she's enjoying herself. Or is it just me?
I'm say a psychiatrist would have a field day (or a headache) diagnosing that family.
Would you describe some recidivist scumbag with 153 convictions who's up before the courts yet again in such glowing terms? There's no difference in Burke's attitude: "fúck the law, I'll do what I want". You're being fooled by a suit and an accent.
I thought this was funny.
A guy who smashes himself in the nuts with a lumphammer every 14 minutes would be a man of focus, commitment and sheer will. Those attributes by themselves aren't always a positive thing.
Does Ammi have a boyfriend?? Just asking for a friend!!
Ever see the John Wick films? That's where the "man of focus, commitment and sheer will" comes from. It's in two of the movies.
You don't see the similarities between say Edwin Poots, former(if briefly) DUP leader and Enoch! Both believe the world is 6000 years old,6025 to be precise, and are anti drink, sport on Sunday, and dare I say it anti Roman Catholic.
No just adding to something the other poster said.
Oh great, now I can't get Enoch saying "Yeah, I'm thinking I'm Burke!" out of my head...
I wish you all the luck in the world with that! 😂😂😂😂
GoFundMe for new bollards for Wilson Hospital School , for when Daddy arrives with Enoch in the passenger seat
Anti Drink? I suppose you think that's a bad thing?
Do they believe that bread can be turned into human flesh by a priest? Imagine believing that anything can just magically become a completely different thing, despite not changing at all. Mad stuff.
I suppose I better ask you for evidence that Burke beleives the earth is six thousand years old as I'm not sure you're entirely reliable.
Has Paul Williams started his book yet based on yesterday's turn of events? I wonder what the nicknames will be. I reckon Isaac will be called "The Mule" due to the constant transporting of that plastic box.
It'd be like the Always Sunny episode when they go the the psychiatrist over whos doing the dishes.
The Burkes are turning insane comedies into actual documentaries.
Mad stuff indeed. I don't think even the staunchest of Catholics profess that the priest turns bread into human flesh but if that's what you think! As for their beliefs that the world didn't exist pre 4000 BC , Google, it's easy.
I havent seen anyone ask for it to be banned just regulated far better. But standard strawman at this point.
What Martina did to her children shouldn't have been let go.
I disagree with the behaviour of the Burkes and I'm an atheist; but we don't get to dismiss their upbringing as we don't agree with what they were taught.
Where do you draw the line on state interference in a parent's rights?
The parents have a right to religious freedom just like anybody else. Would any left leaning person make that argument about the traditional Irish Travellers/Sheikh/Muslim immigrant religious beliefs? Like fcuk they would.
The Burkes are entitled to the same rights even if you strongly disagree with their beliefs.
They are entitled to teach their children those beliefs; and as adults they can make their own decisions.
It is inevitable that in a country like Ireland which has undergone such rapid social change will have people who shout STOP.
Their behaviour has been entirely cnutish but the perseverance is something else.
To them family and religion are the two main components of their lives; they see both as being under attack, and everyone is an outsider. Compelling viewing the odd time I look, and it's not over yet
it is not about their beliefs, it is about their behaviour. behaviour that has formed because of the way they were brought up.
Every 14 minutes, funking wimp! A real man would use 2 lumphammers ever 10 minutes!
Next time you see them pins and ankles again will be in January when RTE launch "Dancing with the Burkes", by that stage they will be bigger "stars" than what passes for "stars" by RTEs definition currently.
They don't approve of dancing.
(Seriously, they don't.)
Simeon will be Id say
Transubsantiation is a central tenet of the Catholic faith, it's not optional for a Catholic.
Anyway, you made the claim about Burke and the age of the earth so I'm afraid you'll have to produce the goods or be considered a bit of a spoofer.
+100 and isn't it unfortunate that this is lost on many posters here. They can't see the wood for the trees, so bound up are they in their own agendas.
