Is Civ VI easy to play using controller? Always found those types of game to be a pain without a keyboard and mouse.
^ Civilisation VI sound like tubes of Pringles. Once you pop, you can't stop.
New games arriving. I feel happy for you all that you get to try out heroin Civilisation VI, it's really very good. If anyone has any questions on it, then ask away, I've put a good few hundred hours into it at this stage. The first thing that you should if you do give it a try, is to go into settings>interface>Show Yield Icons. That'll show what all the tiles are worth, and the game is basically unplayable without them. Rome (Trajan) is a good starting civ, as they get a free building right at the start, and roads that automatically connect to Rome.
Is it? Wasn't there last night. Will have another look! They need to keep this DLC coming.
Final Fantasy DLC is out now too
TR DLC in Powerwash Simulator is pretty fun. Has some of the original sounds from the early TR games, messages from Lara and the butler. All parts more or less enjoyable, except for the ceiling in the museum part. Hate ceilings. So boring.
I'm looking forward to playing F1 22 tomorrow as the first Grand Prix of the season is on Sunday 😎
New Game Pass update.

Can you guide me to where the buying via Turkey guide is please? I've looked way back on the post but cant seem to find it😳
Fantastic!! Thanks a million!!
You can do it again, you'll need to pay full price for the month of GPU though as you've used the €1 offer.
Can someone advise please??
Got my teen a new XboxS for Christmas. I had done the Xbox Game Pass / Ultimate trick way way back when it started on his old Xbox and its all expired now ... Can I do it again now on the new XboxS ... he still has the same username etc?
Thanks
Game Pass update for February.
You should just buy new hands.
Because I didn't think it would when I bought it. Last Xbox I had was the 360 and that controller was grand. Never an issue with it. The SX one causes my thumbs to hurt after extended play. I would have gotten a different controller already but they're all as "hard" or have the same layout as the proper one, so no point until I can get one like a PS controller. Suppose my thumbs are just used to the PS layout now.
It's not a big thing. I have the choice to wait and play on the PS, but if I didn't I'd probably persevere and have loads spent on the Elite v2 and other controllers trying them out. But I mainly don't have to and there's nothing on the SX yet that really needs me to look at other options just yet. I still have hundreds of hours on it every year. Just not over a thousand like I seem to have on the PS.
Why do you own an xbox if the controller hurts your hands though?
More or less. I really dislike the Xbox controller. It hurts after a few hours of play. I don't have that issue with the DualSense and I much prefer the "softer" approach (face buttons on Xbox are like lego bricks), and with the benefit of haptics games just feel better. If Atomic Heart never comes to PS (I will try it), then maybe I'll play it once someone releases a decent wireless DualSense inspired Xbox pad. I may be enjoying it initially, but I'll eventually stop enjoying it because of the controller.
It's 100% personal opinion and choice. I don't hide how much I love the DualSense, I think it's the only true next gen evolution that either side has produced. I want immersion, and the DualSense adds to it, albeit subtly. Whereas the Xbox controller fights me. I describe it as Xbox controller is like a mechanical keyboard, and the DualSense is a membrane, and I'm membrane all day (hate that damn clicking). So it makes sense for me to wait and experience it fully on PS due to my own preferences.
I can go a few hours with the Xbox controller, but all night with the DualSense. Durty.
I can't get my head around this.
You'll play a game on gamepass and if you enjoy it you'll stop playing it because you'll wait for it to come to PS+ (even though it might never come to it) just because you prefer the PS controller? Let's just say Atomic heart turns out to be amazing, you'll put it down and say "I'm loving this but I'm going to stop playing and see does it ever come to PS+.
I don't play it that often either, I'm mostly finding myself trying games and if I like them, waiting for them on PS+ because DualSense. But it's the best value ~€160 I've spent in a while! There hasn't been a game on it yet that makes me think I need an Xbox. Maybe Star...field? will change my mind, or TESVI, whenever that'll come.
I'm the same I haven't bought any game in ages. This is my second cycle. I originally done it with then €1 off for three years and now I'm on my second 3 years with buying one month of game pass ultimate.
Saying that there are a few games I want to play but I don't game that often atm so didn't buy any. The new Hogwarts game I want to play then cyberpunk and the Tiny Tina game is another.
Maybe I'm reading it wrong, but make sure you redeem the Gold before buying the 1 month GPU! Without the VPN, I got 30 months for about €160. I had already used the €1 month so had to pay €15.99 for the month of GPU. Haven't spent a cent on the Xbox since. Handy but can't be making MS money...
If you ignore the vpn route, GPU = €12.99 per month. 3 years = €467.64.
If you use the likes of cdkeys, you can get 12 months of xbox live gold for €44.09. If you buy 3 of those it'll cost you €132.27. Once all purchased, go to xbox store and buy 1 month of fame pass ultimate. It'll either be €1 if offer is available to you, or €12.99 if not. Either way, once you purchase it'll convert your existing xbox live gold to gpu, meaning you'll have 3 years of it for €133.27 - €145.26. Much cheaper than subbing monthly to gpu.
There are options available to purchase gpu outside of Ireland where you will save even more money (eg, 12 months xbox live gold is €28.99 in Turkey), and there are guides here (check op) on how to do that.
Roughly speaking that would be 45x3=€135 plus 1 month gpu sub or would a monthly gpu sub work out at a similar price?
Is there a guide that I can follow for to do this?
The offer is for GPU, but if you load up with 3 years of Gold cheaply (usually about €45 per year from resellers without using a vpn) and then buy the 1 month GPU the entire duration of the Gold subscription will be converted to GPU(up to 36 months).
Just looked at it , I thought the offer was for GPU, don't think gold is any good to me.
If it's a new user/account then it's likely. Still better off using the €1 offer to convert some months of gold
Does the offer of 1 month for £/€1 still exist when you fire up console for 1st time? I assume its a no brainer to avail of it?
We had age of empires on a computer in primary school, we spent so many lunch times playing it. I still remember the cheats like pow, bigmomma, big daddy etc. Glad to see age of empires 2 on gamepass but I know if I start playing it I won't do anything else all weekend
Haven't used them for GPU but I've had no issue with game keys from them.
