I see the Mgurks is a 5wood, does this matter much?
grateful for any advice/tips on this
You’d be better off buying a cheap second hand one on Adverts.ie or done deal in my opinion. Stick a link up here and people might advise whether it’s any good.
Someone here might have a one in their shed or attic that they’ll be willing to give you at a good price.
I did see these two ads

There is also this but just not sure of the differences between the 3 ads

Driver is used off a tee and has less loft. It should go further than any other club.
3 wood can be used off the tee and the ground
5 Wood is the same as the 3 wood and shouldn't go as far as a 3 wood.
Generally a 3wood/driver would go too far for a Par3. They might work for a beginner but the better you get the further they will probably go.
I'd pick up something like this, a full set for a similar price. If you like the sport you can upgrade and sell these on.
The Slazenger set for €95*
Thank you for this, really helpful
