Don't change your story. You said there was no evidence and it didn't happen!
I can tell you one thing. Lessons will have been learned and the next BYPOL will be more effective. Gatling won't be able to deny it! 😂
According to the people who made the video they blew up the said aircraft, but investigations have shown other wise,
Definitely a missed opportunity, but if you look at it and add todays little exhibition by Russian nationalist's, it's looking like someone wants to escalate the situation to new heights,
For some reason
I hope no one fell for this orc lie today.
Geo-located miles away from where they claimed.
I stand by everything I post including this nonsense.
When people can't even find basic information on google in less than 2 seconds they really shouldn't be playing expert's,
I have seen it mentioned that Ukraine is currently outmanned 3:1. If it becomes 6:1 or higher, then that old saw of “Quantity has a Quality of its own” comes into play.
I said months ago that the US needs to wake up and stop taking the current state of play for granted, and should be training Ukrainians on all the advanced weapons platforms they have ruled out fiving to Ukraine, because if things go bad, it will be too late to train them. There is nothing wrong with a bit of insurance.
Never under estimate your enemy.
The plane took off and landed in Russia at an airstrip known for repairing and servicing those planes. So either the radar dome was damaged or the Russians don't feel safe having it in Belarus. So for the moment it's out of that area of the battlefield.
That video was from an earlier practice run, not the latter bombing run.
But wait someone on here said it would never fly again,
How does a plane with extensive damage caused by several explosions take off and fly several thousand kms and safely land
Possibly, but it created a kind of backlash on Twitter against Putin because he claimed that because of the "special Protection" measures he had ordered to be put in place around Airports, they were as safe as could be. So maybe Putin paid for these "Special Protection measures", but like a lot of things he paid for, the cash went mysteriously missing.
Do these people realise they are supplying the Orcs with much needed microchips for their missile industry? Someones going to sneak out of that embassy at 4am and gut those machines of their chps and send them home via diplomatic mail bag. Or maybe not. ;-)
And yet satellite imagery shows it undamaged,
Another poster claims it's been flown back to Russia, despite someone else claiming it could never fly again.
Someone , somewhere is telling Porky's
Part of the reason that an improved Leopard doesn't seem to have been even considered as an option by Poland in its recent shopping spree for K2s and M1s is that Poland has not had a great experience with the post-sales support. That their excess is in questionable condition and needs fixing seems hardly surprising.
That the US has been the rock behind NATO's effectiveness is hardly a revelation. It's been a bone of contention for quite a few years, far earlier than when Trump was the least diplomatic about bringing it up. It also leads to all sorts of holier-than-thou commentary even on this forum about how the decadent US military budget is so high and should be spent on other matters, like those enlightened Europeans have been doing.
It was the sensational headlines that said destroyed. When you read the article it goes on to state thet believe they damaged the radar dome.
Just because the media headlines state it was destroyed and satellite images show it wasn't destroyed, doesn't make the original claim, that the radar dome was damaged incorrect.
Something happened near Moscow-
You admit you posted nonsense and stand by it?
Just doesn't make it true ,
Only recently you got jumped on over one of the HiMars strikes in Mariupol because of a nice trick,
Can HiMars only shoot one day a week??
I stand by my posts ......
No amount of silly nonsense will change that
I was wrong about it never flying again, but it's damaged.
You said there was no evidence for the attack, there clearly is.
Admit you are wrong.
This war is getting closer to home for the Russians,
Wonder if people will start complaining about it on here
I know you were wrong,
I wasn't .
You'd rather deny a clear attack on the orcs didn't happen than be proven wrong.
Stay classy.
Of course it doesn't make it true, but the lack of evidence is not evidence.
You're taking a headline (an incorrect one) stating that the plane was destroyed. You're backing it up with images that don't show a destroyed plane and thinking case closed.
The original claim was the radar dome was damaged, something which may or may not be seen on satellite images.
You don't have a good track record though. Posting a picture of a pristine ballastic missile on the ground and claiming that was shot down and as such that's evidence that Ukraine can shoot down ballastic missiles.
See also "there's a coup in China" thread.
Some people really will do anything but admit they were wrong.
GlSDBs and Reinforced concrete comes to mind,
Sounds like it excuses to me .
I stand by what I say for the 3/4th time
I wonder if Medvedev has a boards account,
I didn't realise this was the tennis forum, all the back and forth should have tipped me off.
In relation to the Kirsch bridge.
It's the limit of range of GLSDB's.
My argument was, just because they can penetrate concrete doesn't mean they can from max range. I don't see how it can glide gingerly onto the target and then all of a sudden hit terminal velocity. Air dropped, right over the target, yes of course. But to maximize range it would have to have a shallow glide slope. Shallow slope = slower speed, slower speed = less kinetic energy to penetrate.
Just because something can do X and Y, doesn't mean it can do both together. (Like a fighter jet being able to go supersonic, carry tonnes of bombs and have a range of thousands of miles. You can Google all 3 and see it can, but not all at once)
And this how generous they have been in their support of Ukraine as a proportion of their own defence spending:
That's not a lot to be giving someone as a proportion of your own spending over 10 years. Or to put it another way: 'We estimated it would have cost us $7.5 trillion to defeat the Orcs, so that's how much we spent on ourselves this past decade - here's $42 billion, now run along and defeat our greatest enemy since the end of WW2 with 0.6% of our ten year defence expenditure, there's a good lad.
