The soldiers in video below have been identified as Russian separatists fighting as volunteers in Ukraine. They are definitely not FSB or affiliated with them, unless the FSB are now actively fighting against Russian regulars in Ukraine.
Very clean outfits for lads sneaking around covertly and a suspicious amount of yellow tape.

Could possibly be a unit making their own decision to cross the border to get some limelight. I can't see Ukr command greenlighting something like this.
I listen and watch a lot of JP and ths piece made no sense which was reiterated in the comments.

Lol, the 2 boyos have been positively ID'd as Russian separatists living in exile for years and serving in different units of the AFU during the war.
Posters will do all kinds of mental gymnastics to blame Putin and the FSB for everything.
They would never officially sanction something like this, but arming and offering intelligence to Russian separatists is a no brainer for the AFU/SBU.
If more Russian border guards are not moved to northern side in response to this particular attack, expect more of these attacks to come.
Its a good way of diverting Russian forces away from donbas.
Leopards wont go to Bakhmut, there are only 2 roads in and both are in range of artillery.
The PR boost to Wagner if they capture or destroy a leopard is not worth the minimal operational gain from having leopards in bakhmut.
Possibly untrue. I'd expect that they would wait untill they could use them en masse as part of an offensive but you'd never know they might to bolster/safeguard the route into Bakhmut.

Re clean clothes , yellow all over, etc, etc and in enemy territory are they not sitting ducks. Having gone through woodland, briars, muck , etc, one would expect to see a few spatters.
IMO , they are Russian / Putin supporting actors and letting on that they are the cause of the undercover attack on behalf of Ukr. That explains all the yellow and the clean clothes - typical Russian ploy
Looking at the gloves and suit I wouldn't be surprised if this will be woven into those Orc narratives of planning dirty bombs or those bio weapons labs all over Ukraine.

It seems very clear to me that Russia is clearly being attacked directly now and so the people need that hero Putrid to take a firm grip on the situation by declaring War and martial law and full mobilisation - or a nuclear strike on Ukraine, take your pick from the lovely options.
Maybe, but I think that's equally likely to be Orc disinformation so they can declare destroying them. I saw yesterday that the leopards had already come under heavy fire from SU-25 airstrikes yesterday over Bakhmut, complete with video of the planes dropping flares.
I would have thought Ukraine would hold back the new toys for the spring offensive. If they want some practice, Bakhmut would be about last on my list for getting that practice.

As I understand it, there are foreign volunteer units fighting for Ukraine, like the Georgian unit with it's former yakuza member and the very attractive blonde Instagram model turned sexy fighter (well that's what she looks like) and there are units comprised of disaffected Belarusians and units comprised of disaffected Russians.
So I presume these lads are 'supposed' to be one of the latter gone AWOL or a group who were never in AFU, but who are partisans in the occupied territories supposedly fighting for Ukraine, while not officially being in the AFU.
Partisan groups in Crimea are reported to have been behind a lot of the explosions at Orc airbases and such that have been so mysterious given they were well out of range of any weapons Ukraine had at the time.
It'll be for historians to decide, but the resources required from Russia for the siege of Mariupol/Azovstal contributed to giving time for Ukraine to fortify its defensive lines. They might have made more ground across the Dniepr without it.
The use of the word 'separatist' is clearly wrong in this case then, that's what confused me. Thanks.

That was some cross wind that drone was heroically fighting against. Also looks like they wanted the drone back after it presumably left something behind.

The flag is very generic also, generally movements have a crappy flag but it would actually have some meaning.
Why is the flag blue but they are wearing yellow tape? Like what colour are these lads? Surly if they are in russia they dont need to be wearing yellow tape - if anything that would make them very easy to see. Plenty of other electrical tape colours to choose from that are highly visible - blue for example.
Look at the boots/shoes in this one - knees also - not a speck of dirt.
Putin's false flags tend to be more along the lines of levelling an apartment building in Moscow. He doesn't care about the lives of his citizens, and people in Moscow don't care about people in rural Russia.
I absolutely agree. It appears to be a non story so far. The videos are just a little interesting.
