Same here, already past my forecast on Solcast for today, weird last couple of days. Not complaining about today but still its only 5Kwh thus far
I mean one day this week for you was 2 weeks of Dec for me :)
Forgot about that pic you posted of the snow in the fields. We got nothing like that in Dublin. Was a class pic
8.1kWh from 4.65kWp SE/SW split in North Dublin
Another muck day forecast tomorrow just now except early on in the west.
May as well forget it and see what Wednesday brings.
5.8kWh today
Does the solis app give an estimated generation?
7.3kWh today for me. Rest of the week looking like it will be just OK, nothing great.
Interesting. I'm in North Dublin also, with 4.46kWp SW facing. Quite close in terms of generation with 7.3 today.
Ended up 8.7kwh yesterday 26/02/2023 with a south facing 6kw system in Newcastle, Dublin.
Today seems on off with the clouds, hoping for a higher output
Aren't we all? 😅
7.16kw today, 10kw yesterday
7.4kw system split everywhere except north, Meath.
Pretty cloudy these days.
yeah 3.5kwh from 4kwh today. but, better days ahead.
12.1 kWh today / 28 Feb
22x400w South facing
Kildare area / Cloudy all day
After taking a look at my monthlies for Jan and Feb, and then seeing the marked rise in PV output in March (according to the boards spreadsheet), I am hoping that this month will be way better than the last few.
It seems that March is 2 x February output, can't wait for that!
Just want to temper some expectations, march last year was spectacular. So many days with clear skies.
Hopefully we'll have the same this year
Spoilsport!
But 2021 also showed a marked improvement between March and Feb - so we live in hope
Also hoping my hibernating NW panels 'wake up' this month. Sun hasn't hit them since end of Sept. Not live a year yet so don't know when they decide to rise
raining here now but am at 13kWh for the day so far
in the same boat, sun is definitely longer around the front of the house in the evenings and im seeing better afternoon generation in feb but nothing like peak panel output from the north west panels.. versus the south east ones - definitely my string 2 is starting to open its eyes a bit..
Muggy midlands yet again, but I managed a dishwasher/washing machine/dryer run with the odd dip into the battery to help with peak requirement (i.e. initial water heating of the dishwasher/washing machine and drying cycle of the dishwasher)
Friday's forecast is off the charts!!!! probably be a washout so
17.1 kWh Today 01/03/23
South facing 8.8 kW system in Kildare
17.5kwh, 8kw S, Dublin, not a bad start of the month 😁
8.4kwh today.
Wasn't expecting that but the sun shone brightly when the clouds passed by.
Very dull in the midlands, no sun. I've a few Apps telling me pure sun Friday and Saturday and a few telling me cloudy, time will tell
11.42kw off 7.4kwp split across all directions except north.
Had a 4.3kwh peak production for a few minutes, highest I ever got since 19th of Jan install.
Got 2.6kw in the eddi, would love to add another battery next to my 4.8kw.
What apps are you using?
weather apps, met, yr, hourly weather, weather live
for PV I just use PV Solar Forecast
5.3kWh from a 4.65kWp SE/SW array yesterday, pretty much covered all usage during power outage from 9.30 till 4.30 😀 had filled battery to 90% but by time power came back it was at 98%. Got my base load down to 0.04 kW for 2-3 hours during the part of the outage. That surprised me as I'd turn off that many circuits - lights and oven/hub.
hope you are right, the windy app is not so optimistic and looking like Tuesday before we see any real sun...😭
11.4 kWh from 22x400 south facing today, no sun very cloudy dull day in Kildare area :(
