Just opened today! Anyone know what percentage of job offers are based outside Dublin just out of curiosity?
I was notified of my department before Christmas and still haven't received a start date. Is anyone else in the same boat? Wondering if I should contact my department. People have said it would be slow but....
One day a week usually only falls if your working on an online team or phone bank offices are open 5 days a week so if your assigned to an office wouldn’t be too hopeful for only one day in.
Hiya, once PAS contacted your HR do you know how quickly you were assigned your new department
Hi, nothing since two weeks ago. I assume it’ll be another month at least
HI Have you heard anything further
Read up on civil service renewal plan 2030, if they don’t ask about it try and mention it to gain marks for the final competency. Be clear in your examples of what course of action you took in each working situation, they’re friendly and will help you. Good luck!
Thanks for the reply Just1more. It’s so annoying that there’s been no movement on this
Do you know where in DSP? Any idea what there blended working policy is? I thought I saw somewhere it's 1 day a week in the office but assume that would be role dependent
I have one alert in Administrative-Clerical & another one in Administrative-General Administration, to cover all bases
As I'm already in the Civil Service -I have an alert set up in Posts Restricted to serving Civil Servants - All
I was with Revenue too and wasn't kept unfortunately but can't keep everyone I guess
I emailed PAS on Monday & got the same reply as to the email I sent on Jan 10th. No movement at all since December.
Cork Open - up to OOM 29 called
Cork Interdepartmental - up to OOM 8 called.
Any last minute tips for EO interview? Surprises they could throw at you? I know when I did my CO interview, a lot of people were caught off guard when they asked the difference between bcc and cc. Every CO I've since met from that panel was asked...
Cork batch 1, I know where I'm going but don't have a start date yet. Vetting and references completed about 4 weeks ago.
Has anyone heard about any movement on the Cork Panel?
TIA
I passed my interview and have started clearance. As i'm already in the civil service, PAS said i don't need the garda vetting so i'm hoping to hear something soon with regard to my department.
Have you heard anything more
My total score (verbal + situational) was 1116. Got called for interview in Batch 7.
DOF
For those that have been placed in positions from the Dublin panels would any of you mind giving us a rough idea of what score you had gotten in round 1 - Total Score (Verbal Reasoning & Situational Judgement): 10**. and what batch you ended in.
I had selected another county, finished in top 15 and have yet to be called to Round 2 so just wondering if I would be better selecting Dublin for next competition.
@el Fenomeno Graduate and trainee/junior management for EO and AO. Senior management for AP
Thats great well done , what department are you currently in if you don't mind me asking. I am in Revenue and would love to be kept here
Yes batch 7. PAS have already been in touch with HR. Due to have a call with my manager to see if I want to stay in my department or move. No idea what to do
mayo have called to interview 10 open and 3 inter. Its very slow moving!
Great , hopefully you get it soon , and I'm assuming Batch 7 ?
Thanks. Which sub-category would cover EO and AO?
Administrative.
Probably an easy answer I'm missing, but how do you set up an alert for EO, AO, AP etc.? Which category do you select?
Any word on mayo or Sligo
Thanks. I mean people further up in this competition (Dublin - external). Have batch 4 (Dublin - external) all started in roles? If so, how long did it all take? I think I've seen some people in batch 5 mention they haven't been appointed yet?
I'm 142 open and 66 interdepartmental.
