Doubt it, lots of air holes there, sure there are two cabin filters on the other end which would be more restrictive
Go the white one. It has a "high spec"....lol
That's exactly the point I was making. What value does the dealer really bring.. At least buying off a private buyer they will know the 'spec', the warranty will be the same and you won't be paying a premium for the experience. Can always get car professionally valeted after.
Out of interest, what would be a fair price for a 211 Model 3 LR with average Kms (30-35k kms up over 2 years)?
That reminds me, I want to change my cabin filter.
The dealers you linked will send it back to tesla as their used car warranty would offer less.
No benefit to buying a Tesla from an Independant dealer, especially if still under tesla warranty unless they have a specific spec you are chasing.
Particularly true of Tesla, but also true of any other cars still under manufacturers warranty.
given a new one is now low 50s, I would have thought low to mid 40s?
I would be inclined to pay that (theoretically) for a one year old but my sense would be a two year old car would be worth no more than 40k.
From keeping a close eye the last 2 months and talking to some sellers of 2 year old LR cars there has been no one willing to sell for low 40s.........yet.
That's interesting RM. We will see if the next few weeks change that.
If I wasn't able to get a decent price for my 3 I would have just kept it. Model Y isn't worth that much more to me. I'm sure others feel the same.
100%
I ordered MY speculatively after trading through 3 teslas. If the numbers worked I’d swap, if they didn’t, I’ll get my 250 back and I shall keep the M3P another year.
Yeah, they are covers, but you wouldn't know it unless told. Not bad for sub 200E.
I liked the original aeros after having them a while, but every other M3 has them and they offer zero protection to the alloys. The alloys themselves are OK. I find them a bit noring and anaemic though.
Range....I didn't care about gaining or losing a couple of kilometres.
Frank Hogan's had one up for 39k and it sold within days.
Yes that was the black 2020 pre refresh one. Priced just under 40k.
@slave1 Any idea if the same cover is needed for the current Y builds or if they were on the more recent deliveries of 3's ?
White M3 with tow hitch available now in inventory if anyone is looking for one..
That FB group is full of random issues and expensive repairs, definitely wouldn't fill you with confidence, wish Tesla would show some faith in their car and offer a 7 year warranty like KIA do.
What group?
Can you post an example?
Considering every single Model 3 in Ireland is still under warranty, im not seeing expensive repairs posted anywhere.
On Facebook there's a Tesla owners group.
Considering every single Model 3 in Ireland is still under warranty, im not seeing expensive repairs posted anywhere..
Not necessarily. Mine is just over 2 years old and about 1000km away from being out of the 4yr/80K km Basic Vehicle Limited Warranty.
Agh right, forgot about heavy mileage usage so yes possible alright.
What random issues and expensive repairs are you talking about?
Can you post an example as previously asked?
40k a year is some going is that work related or do you have a long commute?
I’ll have my car 3 years in 2 weeks, and we’re at 75,000km, and we’re both home based! So averaging 25,000km per year, or 480km per week of ownership!!
I'd say any reference to Tesla repairs are in relation to Model S or X, especially earlier models. Would be highly surprised at any M3 repairs at the expense of owner
Just trying to flush out the truth as it’s very troll like comments.
The Tesla Ireland FB group is a closed group, if you've info to share it would be a good idea to post the details here so anyone who's considering a purchase can be an informed decision. I've had warranty work done on an Ioniq and my Mini, so long as the work is covered it shouldn't be a huge deal.
See above, I'm only in the group a month but every time I log in there's another issue. Fingers crossed I won't have to much dealings with the service center.
