I've had that for 3 weeks but still no VIN :(
I ordered February 2nd with an April/May delivery
Its all feeling a little bit real now. Paid off the remainder of the order and had our home charger installed today....2 weeks patient waiting now for the 14th.
September would screw everyone up because it would mean no grant, or reduced grant depending.
Tesla have said they would make sure all current orders are fulfilled by June, so everyone could avail of the grant. And multiple people have heard from Tesla that there is an extra delivery in April/May. September is standard, but this year is different. I'm optimistic it will happen.
Haven't heard anything from Tesla re payment, is it usually 3 weeks before delivery?
That is how it happened with me. Got the payment notice last Saturday with delivery on Saturday the 18th - exactly 3 weeks.
I haven't received my seai grant form from telsa yet and picking up my car 21 March.I haven't received a email for payment either but that good because need the grant off it first before I would pay it.
I'm in the same situation, not received anything but do have a VIN and delivery date. Was considering contacting them on the SEAI form as I know there is a lead time to process but assume they have allowed for this. I also purchased a model 3 in Jan 2020 so they do have the details but assume they will confirm before submitting the form?!?

My two cents on that - I don't think it has any relevance to us.
I have two orders in (Only want one :) ).
First order from last year, modified mid January (EDD -> Feb - Mar) , second order late January (EDD -> Apr -May).
Both orders show isNotMatchedToRa00Vin : false.
PS - I also still have an 'Edit Design' option, everybody else still got that? I have the steps I can complete thus far, completed..
It was a lot closer to delivery for me, but I changed my order for an inventory car. I think, hard to remember the exact timescale, I paid in full about 3 days before collection.
Hang on a minute did I miss something, order Tesla site says April/May delivery now people are saying ohh they only deliver twice a year and the next delivery after March is September
yeah I've still got Edit Design, no VIN with a EDD of Feb - Mar ...
I ordered MYRWD White/Black seats on 19 Jan and it still says vague Feb - Mar. I seriously doubt this is accurate, but am hopeful for April May. I also spoke to various tesla people in store and by phone and the general message I got was there is a second boat coming. Whether this is true or not is anyones guess. However Ive had the "IsNotmatchedtoRAVIN: False" since literally the 19th Jan. I dont think this means anything. Its a waiting game!
The edit Design won't dissappear until you have a vin and delivery date.I had black model y ordered but had no vin had EDD of feb-march.
I said feck it and change to blue model y which also change EDD to Apr-May got lucky and got a vin and EDD back to March.
I'm not expert I'm going by what's on the various forums and apparently it means you are :soft matched" to a VIN. Google the term theres plenty posts on it. Also I still have the Edit Design option
Also the Glovis Sunrise is on the way to Zeebrugge. from Shanghai.. hopefully that's the second boat. Even Mr Miserable over TMC forums isn't sure whats on it. Fingers crossed although it is in the med for a few days now
I wonder are there any people with orders out there where this “not matched to vin” says “true” that would tell you it means something I reckon

All standard range/ RW drive Model 3 and Y are LFP

The next few days could be a turning point, hopefully, as the cars from 2 vessels will be loaded on a vessel to Ireland.
I think that at best Tesla will have an extra shipment to cover Q2. Tesla are quarterly focused so they will ship as late as possible to have as many orders as possible on the boat, but early enough to make sure that the cars get delivered before quarter end. They will still have to work withing the constraints of RoRo availability however, so they might ship a few weeks earlier if they had to. I expect that if there is a Q2 ship it won't leave Shanghai until April. So at the end of March/start of April we would first see a tightening of the date ranges for LR and late RWD orders and a few weeks later a VIN shower.

Very few LR on the first boat indeed. But Tesla are still allocating vins so wait it out.
So it's March and my parents order for M3 LR placed in mid Jan still says "Feb-Mar 2023" and no hidden vin. Time Machine included for free now? ;) 🤣
