After the judge rose from the bench, Mr Burke, his sister Ammi, brother Isaac, mother Martina, and father Sean appeared at the back of the court at around 10.12am.
They spent some time talking to the court registrar before leaving.
Martina Burke said they had a "four hour journey" from Mayo "asking for our rights", as she left court.
I wonder is it a legal right or a religious right to be allowed to be late to your own court hearing?

The case was listed "for mention" before Justice O'Moore in Court 3 at 10:0am.
Thankfully I've never had to go to court, but definitely if I ever had to go to court and knew it was going to be a four hour journey, I'd probably leave the house about 5 hours before the time. If I'm an hour early, grand, grab a coffee and a sandwich while I wait.
It's court. I'd rather be an hour early than a minute late.

According to RTE.ie, Justice O'Moore called the case and Enoch wasn't there, so he gave him another five minutes, then went ahead without him.
Justice O'Moore has instructed WHS to prepare an affidavit stating all the times Enoch has breached the injunction, to be supplied to the Court by 5pm tomorrow. Enoch will then have until Friday to respond.
The Burkes arrived at 10:12am. Martina was annoyed the Court didn't wait for them.
Justice O'Moore is not giving them an inch.
Unfortunately I have had the displeasure of being in court many times. Nothing criminal on my part, just a crazy ex 🙄 I’m always at least an hour early before call over. Spend several more hours sitting, waiting to be called while crazy ex scowls at me. If I was travelling from Mayo I’d probably leave the night before 😂

I'd say many a Mayo man/woman/they/it/thing has had a frustrating journey on the N5 by being behind a Burke on the road.
Judge gave him 100 lines:

Tough - You were told what time the case was to be heard , get there in time.
Like others have said , better to be way too early than to be even a minute late - It's a court appearance , not dinner at you mothers house.
They might not be big into religious imagery but Ma Burke isn't averse to flogging religious books. And of course like most evangelical bible thumpers belive that " Jesus praised the widow who gave her last two coins at the temple ". I tell ya there's con artists and then there's religious con artists who are on a whole new level!
Of course if he had actual legal representation then his representative could have been there and asked the judge nicely to put it back a bit as they were on the way. Then again the judge was probably not very inclined to do the family any favours.
