The two foreign citizens had entered the country as tourists and were "coordinated from the shadows by a group of people affiliated with a conspiratorial network of experts in political technologies and social engineering from abroad", reads the SIS communique.
The two "tourists" were engaged in activities of collecting data and information for the implementation of a plan to destabilize the internal situation in the country.
During their stay on the national territory of the Republic of Moldova, foreign citizens initiated a complex of informative-subversive actions for researching different locations around government headquarters and critical infrastructure objectives.
