Banned?? I among several others have had the temerity to challenge the group think here on this thread. For which I received a warning. That's why it's now an empty pointless echo chamber of a thread.
What I do find quietly amusing though are the daily updates on Burkes fines, which will likely remain unpaid. But as long as this goes on, some poor donors are having their pockets squeezed to try and match them. Doesn't strike me as something that was well thought out.

Nah, not remotely true. I've posted stuff where I think Burke might win his case against the school for unfair dismissal because of a few things the school did and I haven't been banned.
I've posted where I think the Judge was wrong not to give Burke his injunction against his dismissal hearing and I haven't been banned.
If you post in a logical manner, no matter how outlandish your views are, you won't get banned. Just be polite, make your point and don't engage in acting the boll1x and you are very unlikely to be banned.

He has racked up a large amount of fines for his contempt of court. At this point more than €20,000. And yeah, that's owed to the court. I believe he has also been required by the court to pay the court costs for the school he used to work at. And it seems likely that he will be on hook for the remainder of the costs. A lot of people think it is unlikely that he'll pay that either. I certainly agree that he is unlikely to ever willingly pay anything. He does very much seem to be that kind of deadbeat. However I don't agree that it makes the fines or the award of the court costs to be pointless. Even if he won't ever willingly turn over any money that doesn't mean that it won't have an impact on his life.
I've said this before but imagine the masturbation fest that certain CA posters would have if someone from a council estate owed 20k to the court and was harassing a school.

This is far more nuanced than the moronic "owning the libs" argument I see far too often online. I've chatted to people about this case (hopefully not in a Beechwoodspark "relatives in Castlebar" sort of way) and have heard all sorts of views. It's fair to say that there are quite a lot of people out there who aren't fully on board when it comes to transgenderism. Some even think Enoch was right to refuse to call the student "they". Notably, I have yet to meet anybody who thinks Enoch is going about this the right way. Nobody thinks that the roaring and shouting so beloved of the Burks is acceptable behaviour. Nor does anybody think that defying court orders and turning up at the school gates is OK. At this point in time, I'd argue that most people are intrigued as to how the case will pan out. That's of far more interest than the initial reason for all that happened since.
This is what I find interesting: atheist conservatives suddenly justifying a religious stand (albeit a flawed one)

The religious element isn't so important to them. It's more about Enoch striking a blow against the encroachment of woke values. If they can shoehorn in a reference to libs or the left, all the better. It is a poor choice of hill to die on, knowing that there are Burkes involved.
I love how he has his little bag over his shoulder every day, just in case the principal comes out and says, "you were right Enoch and I was wrong. Come on in and start teaching again".
