Seems to be a done deal thanks to the fat git ,
But then he signed into law permanent deployment of Russian forces from police, airforce and armor backed up with infantry, this is why the current situation with Belarus is still dangerous,it's not balkmut they have thousands of tanks and IFVs in Belarus along with 100 + aircraft of all types,
They are already all but occupied as it is
The only people who have a right to decide about a peace process are the people of Ukraine, nobody else, and they want to fight.
They are in a fight for their country, culture and the right to call themselves Ukrainian, ie their very existence as a people. This is no simple land grab, it is a genocidal war and the people who are being genocided will fight till the very end. The way they put it is "As long as there is a 12 year old with a butter knife in Ukraine, there will be resistance".
You say you want the best outcome for Ukraine, well according to the people of Ukraine, that is to fight until their land is free of people who want to kill them for being Ukrainian, then join NATO and the EU.

The cat will be away for a few days in China this week.
But will he , especially since the claims of a Russian aircraft being attacked last night, possible false flag or bs story
If the Russians want a way out, it lies to the north and east.
The AWACS A-50U aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces in Machulishchi was attacked by 2 drones .
It is reported that Lukashenka's security forces found a bag with drone control panels, and the organizers of the sabotage successfully escaped and are already safe abroad.
For reference, the aircraft was hit either by 2 suicide drones or 2 drones that dropped explosives.
The current attacks on Ukraine by missiles and Shahids may be in retaliation for this humiliation.
I don't know if posted but lookes like trouble between friends.
Nothing has been varifed it actually happened, pretty much one source posted the story on social media and it's been parroted all day by various other sources,it's wouldn't be the first time for claims from Belarus either,
It will be interesting to see if any satellite imagery comes out over the next 24 hours
I'll put my hands up and admit I thought Bakhmut would have fallen by now after the latest advance and them blowing the smell Dam. But it hadn't happened and I'm happy about this.
Bakhmut will never be a Mariupol as a breakout will always be possible or a counter attack to reopened lines into it even if it gets surrounded. With Mariupol it wasn't.
I think as long as Russia is losing multiples more trying to storm it Ukraine will hold. Only if it becomes like Soledar where they take higher losses will they retreat.
This is really well done 😊
The scariest bit of that thread is where they showed the that democrats will say they've seen extreme weather events but most republicans won't. People can live through hurricanes and heatwaves and their politics will cause them to ignore it. Political bias is strong enough that people can not notice the actual weather.
That doesn't give a lot of hope for the future.
More and more of these are getting posts, some by posters last night
yet not seeing anything official. Rumours or too early to call?
If he doesn't go then it's convenient timing.
Not to be outdone, Vilnius has joined the party. On display in Cathedral Square.
News from Bakhmut isn't great. Ukrainian troops blew a dam to stop Russian advance but it has only slowed it. At least it seems Ukrainian forces have evacuated most troops so if(when) it falls they won't lose too many.
I'm not so sure on that story
Ex-Russian President Warns Of Nuclear Apocalypse
~ Continued Western support for Ukraine will lead to “a collapse” and “defeat for everyone,” Dmitry Medvedev says the West is endangering the very existence of human civilization by threatening Moscow, former Russian president Dmitry Medvedev has claimed. Continued support for Ukraine from the US and its allies could result in a nuclear “apocalypse,” he warned.
How surprising. Have you got any insights to share about this, @buzzerxx? RuZZian pols have been rattling their nuclear coffee can all through the war.
Nobody has threatened Moscow.
The only people issuing nuclear threats is Russia.
Russia repeatedly violated the Budapest Agreement, which was a step towards nuclear de-escalation! In exchange for Ukraine giving up nuclear weapons, Russia guaranteed Ukraine's sovereign independence and territory.
The country endangering the very existence of human civilization is Russia.
Part IV of Lindybeige's interview series with Ukrainian volunteer, Joe McDonald. If you've not seen the previous parts in this series, I thoroughly recommend it. A riveting watch that highlights the general messiness and humanity of war.
Intense; I hope the counter attack was an epic success.
Interesting twist. Saudi foreign minister now in Ukraine pledging 400 million in support. The Saudis play the game like India and China, but I suppose Russia making friends with Iran doesn't sell to well to them.
Probably too early to call. This is a very "liquid" frontline, so things could swing either way. It does at least sound positive.
All this has me wondering one thing though; Do the Russians have any fall-back positions or units defending the rear, or have they foolishly pushed everything to the front? If it's the latter, any collapse on the front line could offer holes for Ukraine to drive in and encircle the Russians. Given how dramatically their frontlines have reteated before, I'm hoping for a repeat of that on the Bakmut front.
That's an excellent analysis on Medvedevs part. Do you think after a further 12 months of thought by his tiny little brain, it might generate the idea that if they were to pull out of Ukraine, this danger he's worried about would cease to be?
What about you, do you think that if the stupid Orc's hadn't started this mess, that you wouldn't be posting the brain dead opinions of a moron?
I know the Maga turds are trying to make support of Ukraine a negative, but there are significant Republican voices completely in support of assistance to Ukraine, with several like Mitch McConnell even criticising Biden for not doing enough, soon enough, so the Republicans will be at each others throats before they are at Biden's. Liz Cheney is another very onside.
Edit: Found something I remembered seeing. There was very recently a security conference in Munich. McConnell was one of the panellists..
It really is very comforting when worrying about Republicans halting aid for Ukraine.
A week after claiming that Ukraine and NATO started it. These lads can't even remember the lies they told yesterday.
Hungary making a nucince of themselves again.
We was wondering a few days ago what would go down over the one year anniversary of Russia's current invasion. Looks like the Russian administration was happy to let it pass without too much fuss, to avoid any focus on the failure of the 'special military operation' which was to be run over a few days. Instead we had Putin reframing his war now, as justifiable on the basis of 'the west' trying to destroy Russia.
When is his next big sticking point? A loss of revenue coming in? A shortage of equipment and parts? If he tries a new mobilisation?
You hear/ read lots of people say this war will still be going this time next year. I'm not so sure and suspect the Russian campaign is going to increasingly run into problems.
I’m in between. I think the war will still be going next year as long as Putin is still czar, but the front line will be closer to Russia and the Russians will be more and more compromised as the year goes on.
We’re in for more surprises yet, but the war continues while the poisoned dwarf is still in charge.
