These countries aren't at war over "differences". One is invading the other and has zero interest in peace. The other has no option but to defend itself and it's sovereign territory.
Most of the peace proposals I've come across so far involve "give Putin land in reward for his invasion, that'll definitely stop him invading". Limp-wristed fluff.
The world and Ukraine are waiting for a proper peace plan, not dictator appeasement plans.
To coin an analogy
Your parents house is being invaded by their aggressive neighbors, they have inflicted violence on your parents, they have forcefully taken over two rooms in the house, continue to attack daily with no let up and demonstrate no interest in any sort of peace.
Your parents "don't want peace" because they aren't begging for talks with your aggressive neighbours (who have never demonstrated any interest in talks only violence)
That's the mentality of some people over this conflict. It's incredible.

If you drill into the types of equipment lost, the orcs have disproportionately lost far more of their newer equipment.
The Ukrainian losses skew more heavily to older less valuable things like BMP 1's and T-64's.

I don't think this is an action to draw Belarus into the war but a partisan or long range Ukrainian strike to hit russian military where it hurts. I get the impression that if Belarus was going to join the war against Ukraine in an all out attack it would lead to the fall of the current putin puppet from power. The russian troops stationed there look to me more likely to be a strategy from putin to keep his puppet from loosing their position than any sort of preparation for them opening another front in their offensive. The russians can barely supply the front they have already established in Ukraine. Hopefully some more russian military stuff gets broken in Belarus soon and the people there realise they can get rid of russia from their country and like Ukraine move away from soviet era corruption and living and dying to serve moscow.

The problem with Belarus is they are already several years down the road of reunification with Russia, which I believe this is why Ukraine was invaded ,
Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova would have been the first pieces of the puzzle for the return of the Soviet union,the states would have been heavily fortified and used as a massive buffer between Russia and the EU /Nato .
Ukraine has put a huge dent in Putins plans,but Belarus is a whole different story along with Moldova
But the Belarussian public don't want unification with Russia. This is solely the work of Lukashenko....I'd hazard a guess there is a lot of ill feeling towards Putin among the public.
