Wont make any difference, a Model Y LR in Black unlikely to turn up until the next boat gets dispatched. Recent orders for any grant qualifying LR will take a while to get allocated. You’re somewhere in the virtual queue.

Has anyone who ordered a MY RWD White or Black with any interior and induction wheels received a VIN (hidden or not) and/or delivery date. I have a delivery date and vin for White/White/Geminis bit really want my other order black/black/induction ordered 15th Jan. Currently Feb/March delivery window which it has been since day I ordered.

You say car mats, I presume these are rubber ones? The car will come with carpet ones.
The frunk lights, are they just to make it brighter than the existing light? Hadn't heard of that before.

just thinking if anyone cancels an earlier collection slot could you give me a ping, especially around 17th/18th/19th. Have collection for 25th but under pressure to pick it up. Again all depends if the car will even be there but maybe worth a shot!
You could try phoning them. Someone already said that they got their collection date moved up by a few days. I rang during the week but got no joy. The car physically won't be there.
Another internet FUD about Tesla unfortunately that has filtered down to the people on the street by haters.
I think this stems from the US. The RWD doesn’t come with mats in the US (doesn’t come with charging cable either) but in Europe we get the lot including front mudflaps. Unfortunately all the reviews on YouTube are mostly US based.

I am sure the costings have been done, but with the numbers we are now getting it may make sense in the future.
Hoegh Chiba's capacity is 6,000 cars... Lead times to Ireland would be very long if one had to wait for 6,000 orders before they made a shipment.
How long before you get a VIN approx ?

Obviously the whole load doesn't have to go to Ireland..
Other companies such as Hyundai have dropped their Irish consignment to Ringaskiddy, something similar I am sure could happen with Tesla once the costings make sense.
Thanks for that. Expect it to be substantially more this year but last year there were 1318 Teslas registered. Mainly in Feb/March and September.

It seems most people who got a pick up date of mid/end March started getting VINs early Feb. So 1,5 months before your pickup seems to be it.
But if you have a current delivery timeframe of April/May there's really no telling. It could be early April, it could be May if deliveries are pushed back to June.
Yeah it's pretty much passing Ireland on route to Belgium so you'd think it would make sense to stop here first!

I was speaking to them today, unfortunately the 25th is the first day my car is available for collection. Don't know if this is the situation with yours @Killer K
The reason for that is that the RoRo ships coming from Belgium have a smaller capacity, so the cars are shipped in batches. As far as I have understood, there are 3 RoRo ships per week.
Worth a try. Not a complicated piece for them. Both cars sitting there so it is just a quick swap of scheduled times for collection. No physical transporting of cars.
Had the option to select from 21-25 for mine @staples7 and picked the Saturday for convenience. Forgot it would cost me an extra four days on car rental!
Both cars will not be there unfortunatley, they fill a tent with that slot deliveries, rest of cars not on site
