What Unkel do next!! 😜
Yep. Sent the swift payment on Monday. €0 showing as the balance.
I got the wheel covers on Amazon and they were crap tbh. Arrived damaged, so I sent them back for a refund. Ordered different ones on Aliexpress and they give you centre logo's
Mind if I ask which ones on Aliexpress? Bit of a minefield with different types and cost variances
I don't think there will be another "what unkel got next* thread for a while 😂
Ordered these ones...

Just add a message to the order that you want logo's aswell and they will send them with the order.
How does Tesla normally inform you about the bank details to transfer to and what reference would you use?
Email
The Reference is the RN number which you should include on all emails, payments etc.
They send you an email requesting payment but also you have in you account this status
and then
If you press continue you go to a page where there are the "wire details"
There you have the IBAN and other details required to make the payment.
Still at this stage, but I have a date
Next Steps
We are drafting up your contract and will contact you when you can make your final payment. We will register your vehicle once final payment is received and once your SEAI Grant is approved (applicable to new vehicle personal purchase only).
Your stage is one step before payment request. I manage the purchase on behalf of the company I work for, for 2 MYs. Orders placed less than 5 minutes apart as there is no x2 on the website. The deliveries are 10 days apart, first one is the one I posted above, second one is at your stage. I wonder how Hertz managed their 100k order. :)
I don’t have that continue button option on my accounts which leads to any credit transfer details
Here's the wire details.
The order no. and amount will be different for everyone.
Has anyone had all weather mats arrive? Just wondering what looks best between rubber, PVC or 3D shaped mats.
For the LR with Gemini wheels is 565km realistic? (as much as any states range is)
In perfect driving conditions, yes. Same as any other EV test.
But in reality, real world driving, it won’t.
Near 400km at 120km/h is what I seen recently.
Very unlikely in normal conditions I expect but Bjorn recently managed to get WLTP range with a MY RWD. Test conditions were ideal however as he was testing in Thailand. By comparison Ireland at this time of year is either cold, wet, windy or a combination of all three.
On the off chance anyone with a RWD/SR Model Y order happens to be considering alternatives, I am open to a swap for a 231 Hyundai Ioniq 5. No particular reason for me to swap, just want a Tesla to be honest 😛. Collected my Ioniq 5 the day after the price cuts so was too late to back out of my deal.
Might need to offer a cash incentive to get this over the line. What model Ioniq 5 ? Photos ?
Yeah as @joe1303l advised, you would need to provide details of the Ioniq 5. I would imagine it would need to be the higher spec one with the 77kwh battery and panoramic roof to get anything close to a straight swap.
You could just order a MY RWD now and likely get it in Q3 at the latest. Depending on the grant situation (and lack of supply of Ioniq 5s, as I understand Hyundai dealers have been asked to stop taking orders), you could sell it back to a Hyundai dealer and not lose that much.
Even if grant is gone and you paid over 50k for the Ioniq 5, you could be doing OK.
The other option is to sit tight and enjoy the Ioniq 5, which is a great car. It is not like they are going to stop making Teslas in the next couple of years and if anything supply will keep on increasing (and they may even have sorted the parking sensor issue by then).
There is a referral icon showing in the Tesla app this morning an option to share a referral link but a blurb about it not being available in our region?
Anyone have any info on this? How does the referral work and is it active again?
Not active in Ireland. It’s been there for many months now.
Recently started back up in Australia though.
And New Zealand overnight aparently
Starting at 100k, you could buy a standard and LR model Y and still come out almost cheaper. Don’t see how these polestar 3’s can sell? Ok good range at over 600kms but plenty of cars have good range.(but a 111kwh battery pack so not entirely economical) You’re into Ex90 money which is still hugely expensive but at least that has the space and some of the xc90 following. What am I missing?
Looks fantastic but price is way off where it should be.
Does anyone know if the MYs currently on their way to Ireland has the new comfort suspension?
Why are you posting the same question on multiple threads when you have already had your question answered elsewhere??
All MY on the Heogh Chiba, have the new comfort suspension.
Don't see an issue asking the question on a different thread seeing as no one seems to have a definite answer to it other than information based on what Tesla had planned to do from the 1st of Jan and referencing VIN numbers and number of cars produced in Shanghai by the 11th of January.
If you are 100% certain that all the MYs have the comfort suspension, on what are you basing this absolute certainty?
And that was the reason I posted on a second thread, though self-appointed "boards.ie police" seem to think that this is not an approved approach.
